I've been a fan of the whole anime/manga culture going on I would say 5 years are so. A couple of my friends from high school were browsing the internet and stumbled upon an anime site. I was somewhat of a cartoon geek when I was younger but grew out of that phase with the rest of my peers after junior high. I was surprised to see so many grown-up themed cartoons (wasn't familiar with the term anime at the time) and the high level of quality appearance wise. I quickly realized that these weren't my early 90's cartoons but a more mature fantasy world to explore. It was like re-tapping into my inner child but with beefed up graphics (like going from nintendo to PS3)! My girlfriends didn't exactly share my new found luv of anime but ultimately I didn't care. I'm gonna do whatever it is that I have fun doing and this has become one of my absolute favorite hobbies.
