Yes, I agree with you. People who say that her intentions are bad and her actions deceitful, are not wrong per se.. At the same time, however, Chizuru and Kazuya also deceive their family and friends and act very selfishly, which does not exactly testify to a purer personality. So this argument against Mami doesn't work. What's more, the two of them are not honest with themselves because they can't admit their feelings and come up with illusionary excuses in their heads. Even if we don't learn much about Mami's inner life, she at least seems to be honest with herself.

Thanks for accepting! Yes Mami.. either people love or hate her. In my opinion, she is the main reason why there is some action and intrigue in this series. Her character is somehow made to be disliked. Nevertheless, she creates suspense as to what will happen next (except season 3). And although the voices of the haters are louder, the number of her favs speaks for itself, funnily enough. But you accepted now because you like her too or the contrary?
