Not sure really what to say about me. I'm a game artist/character designer hopeful, currently attending college near NYC working on a bachelor's degree in game design. :P
Someday I want to maybe work on/create otome games but I'm not going to be picky going into the industry, haha!!
I've been watching anime since 1998, and it has been a big hobby of mine ever since, though in recent years I've been a bit more focused on video games I am now literally so busy working on MAKING video games that I don't have much time, if any, for actually playing them. I've found myself watching anime more when I take some downtime between working on game art, because watching anime doesn't tire out my hands like both homework AND gaming does.
I tend to go on major anime-watching binges every three months or so, whenever Crunchyroll gifts me a premium month trial. Other than that I just casually follow what manages to particularly interest me, or I just rewatch my old favorites over and over again (Ojamajo Doremi, Hikaru no Go, Kyou Kara Maou!, etc.).
The Spring 2011 season was amazing just saying.
I've been learning Japanese in some way or form for twelve years now (since late 2000, as a point of reference in case I don't keep this updated), and I'm able to watch most anime RAW. But since it's still much easier and less tiring for me to understand English (my native language, natch), I tend to only fall back on RAWs if it's a series that I can't be patient waiting for, or a series that has particularly crappy sub groups working on it.
On that note: I am not willing to work as a translator for fansub or scanlation groups. Please do not come recruiting me. If I am interested in helping, I will come to you, but I can safely say that this will not happen.
(If you're actually from the anime industry and you're really okay with employing a translator with only level N2 JLPT certification though we may be able to work something out! :Dd)

she also directed that episode in hyouka (i think it was ep 7?) with the onsen bathing scene, which had a tad bit of fanservice in it, for both sides tbh, since they kind of focused on those abs and stuff, she also admited one of the male lead's underwear color was her doing lol
Though it's still no big deal, i'm not going to judge the show until i watch it, it does seem interesting, and i can handle all kinds of fanservice as long as its tame.
though she did direct some episodes of KyoAni's works.
