Hello. I'm Tyranogre. I'm a veteran of the Nintendo NSider Forums and the various spinoffs that it spawned after it's death. I'm also fairly active on TVTropes, Youtube, and the Final Fantasy Wiki.

My first anime was an obscure series called Superbook that my Bible-thumping Grandmother got me when I was very young. However, I didn't realize that Superbook was an anime until fairly recently. I used to watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh when I was in middle school, but grew out of them over time (though I still play the Pokemon video games and watch YGOTAS).

I suppose the biggest factor that got me into anime was the old "adult games" section on Newgrounds. I have some pretty fond memories of spending my afternoons coming home from high school, booting up my computer, and spending hours upon hours playing poorly-coded flash games consisting of bone-headed dialog, excessive swearing, and "sex scenes" consisting of still images taken from backwater porn sites, all while constantly looking over my shoulder hoping my mom wouldn't knock on the door. Ah, good times...

Most of the anime series I like are either about cute high school girls doing cute high school things, or socially-awkward male college students surrounded by beautiful women. Though, I'm okay with pretty much any genre, as long as it's not generic Shonen shit that's impossible to get into because it just goes on and on for fifty billion episodes.
