About me eh? Hm, I don't know if you want to be aware of the misadventures of a bohemian but.... I'm student, college, history, I'm a left thinker and a lover of the quietness. I love Japan, the respectful people, the food, the manga, the anime... man, my country is going to shit, it's frickin' falling you know, In a few years this shit it's going to be postapocalyptical, I have to run to Japan! But, well, we are talking about manga and anime, aren't we? You have to know, I like drama, a lot, I like depressing things! But I like the comedy too. You like bishojo, ecchi, moe? I'm your youkai, you like action, magical and demonic stuff? I'm your youkai, You like comedy? I'm your youkai, you like drama, especially romantic drama? I'm your youkai. But if you like yuri (especially romantic yuri), I'm your master! By the way, if you don't know what Madoka Magika is, please, don't talk with me, in fact, please, don't even watch me!
About why I like yuri so much...: I’m writing this for many reasons, the first of which is that someone maybe could think that I like it because I’m some kind of pervert (but surely if I were a yaoi fangirl nobody would say anything, I said!). Maybe another reason is that actually there are yuri-reader guys who truly are perverts, and the yuri is more than that! What is “the yuri”? Why I like it so much? Because of it’s nature, because is a mix of lovely cuteness with deep drama and ironic tragedy! Out there are sweetest things and more dramatic lectures, but the mix of both made yuri works really unique. Dim, pure romance condemned to prohibition, in the shadows, that eventually ends in disgrace for its own nature!
As a yuri fan I have to say: stop fucking with Hakamada Mera, it's not THAT bad!
My life as an otaku could be summarized like this:
About the catalan Gensokyo: Lo Gensokyo catalan/occitan ocupa basicament una zòna difonduda que va Lemòtges fins a Tortosa, en se concentrant de manièra notabla en la plana del Penedès, mai que mai dins la zòna de las gorges del Foix.

The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!
P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.
P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.
Ah yes, Akuma no Riddle is one anime I'm keeping up with this season. I really like the action sequences of it, shame that characters don't get enough screentime. One episode, than bam! They're gone for failing to go through with the assassination.
Haha, I've read so many manga. I probably read nearly all yuri manga that has been translated...
hahaha yes! yuri project <3
a while back I discovered dynasty-scans.com
It was just... wow! filled with yuri to the brim. Easier to look for random yuri stuff there than on individual release sites for example. hahaha give it a visit if you haven't already ;)
baka stuff eh? lol that itself is also a question. what kind of baka stuff. mwahahaha but seriously, we need to go around and see what some of these active clubs do. Most of the clubs I joined are just clubs in name. Nothing actually goes on in there.
wut? reading yuri solely for the lewdness? hell no! Yuri is the purest form of love. (quoted from yuri-ism.com haha) anyway, at least not for me. I watch yuri coz i'm bored of these conventional male female love in my animus & mangas. hahaha that's where yuri comes in ;)
one of the admins... wow, that sure is tempting. but, has the club been created? any ideas what kind of stuff would we be doing in there? hehe lots of question >.<
nah, I'm in asia ;)
but I guess, yeah, It's exam season now. Glad it's over.
Anyway, I'm glad to know you're into yuri too :3
ALL HAIL YURI!!! hahaha
Oh! and I see Macademi Wasshoi in your watchlist. How is it? I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. It hass been sitting there in my drives for ages. XD
hahaha finally able to get online. Sorry about that, mate. My exams just finished yesterday. Now? Now it's time for anime! Lot and lots of them. lol Anyway, glad to know we got a high compatibility ;)
That could be a possibility. It takes a certain type of person to like certain things. I'm Mechanical Engineering student. Probably why I don't like the stereotypical girls stuff; the color pink or purple, romances, romantic comedy's, One Direction (that one's a joke), etc. It's not what all girls like by no means, but it is just what we are known for liking. We are the main audience for that type of stuff which is why it is usually aimed towards us.
I don't like when people put everyone in the same category either. Society seems to want to say "guys can't be emotional" "guys can't like pink or purple" or any "girly colors". A color is a color; who cares. The point is, everyone is not a certain way; everyone is different.
"I'm sure that out there are a lot of guys that are this way."
I'm sure there is not. I'm sure most of the guys are watching it for perverted reason. A lot of straight guys don't even get that emotional and romantic with it comes to girls. So, I can't see how they would feel that way seeing two girls in love with each other. I doesn't make sense to me.
"I don't think anyone should be surprised because a man is emotional..."
Secondly, I never said that I was surprised to see a man "emotional"; I never said such nonsense. I said I was surprised that they could become emotional attached to the characters in Yuri and not just watching the show for all the wrong reasons, such as seeing two girls making out. You should pay attention. Also, there is nothing stereotypical or offensive about it. I know personally a lot of guys that would not watch Yuri type shows and get into it; they would only watch it to see two girls kiss and probably abandon the rest of the show. It is uncommon to see guys watch shows for the romantic aspect weather it is a straight relationship romance or a yuri/yoai type romance. Even on YouTube videos they just comment all the time on the characters ass and breast. So, it is surprising to see them watch it without having their mind in the gutter. Most guys do not think like females, and that is the simple fact. That is why it is more common for a straight girl to watch a show involving two guys or two girls and they don't question their sexuality, because of it; they are just watching it for the romance. Versus a straight guy watching a show about two guys and thinking it would make them seem gay because they are watching it. Guys are always in fear that their sexuality will be questioned; dumb. Like I said, guys and girls do not think alike.
Just because YOU don't fit into the "stereotype" doesn't mean that most guys are not like that. I also don't fit into the stereotype that most girls like mushy romances. Yet you don't see me complaining. That is why I prefer yuri or yaoi, it is not the same ol same ol straight couple relationship, that they tend to make tons of films about every year; boring.

Nothing beats that awesome yuri feeling.
hahaha same here. I usually update my list whenever I felt like doing it. Anyway, I guess I'll go give Macademi Wasshoi a watch later.
