Hi, welcome to my page. I am just a normal Asian girl, grew up in Japan, but moved to Singapore to study. Blood type is B. I am still a student and don't have a lot of time watching anime, because of that there is not a lot of title under my record. I join this platform because I want to log my anime watch history, and also learn about titles that I might have missed.

If you find that we have similar tastes in anime (https://myanimelist.net/shared.php?u1=Tsuzura&u2=(your user name here)), you can send me a friend invite (Of course you can do so if you just want to make more friends) or DM me some recommendations.
(Charlotte, 5cm per second, and Tsuki ga Kirei are 3 good marking bench)
I grade anime on a -5 to 55 basis, then rescaling (not linearly) them back into the MAL 1 to 10 scale, I considered myself a pretty strict grader affected by my school's grading norm.
To put it more accurately, it's difficult to get a 10 (A range), then both (8-9) B range and (1-5) D/F range are fairly wide.
The MAL passing grade for me is 6
For anime series which I started watching before establishing any clear grading system, different seasons, as well as OVA (full episode), are graded as one unless there are significant differences. The score for such anime series may change after another season because of this. For anime series using the new grading system, full-length OVA episodes will still be graded as one, but different seasons may have different ratings. However, movies relating to TV anime titles, and special shorts, will be graded separately regardless of the date I start watching.
Anime series using the new grading system:
Hibike! Euphonium
Kimi Ni Todoke
Komi San Ha Komyushou desu
Toradora!
Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau

Don't worry, you don't have to be super active! I don't open this site all the time either. XD Clubs have different features, like events where you can vote for your favourite characters, forum games or discussions about things like seasonal anime and more. Some of them have discord servers too, so if you happen to have an account, you could definitely join some clubs' discord servers too! Some clubs are more general (no specific target audience/not particularly focused on anything) than others, it depends. Ooh I see, it's good that you can improve on your English, sad that you haven't been able to go back to Japan in quite a while though. :/ I speak English mostly, but I can have basic conversations in Cantonese (which I speak with my parents) and Mandarin. I started learning Japanese a few months ago but can't say much with it at the moment haha it's gonna take a lot of time.
It's okay, I understand what you mean! I definitely prefer anime over live-action media too, it also feels more realistic to me at times, maybe because in animation, more things are made possible? I also love the visuals and stories in anime, I haven't grown tired of the character designs or anything, and I also really love the voice acting and music. :D
Ohh wow that must have been years ago! I barely participate in forums nowadays outside of the two clubs I'm in ahaha, if you're interested I can tell you about them. It's nice that we have somewhat similar lists! :D I read your profile, it's quite cool that you study overseas now! May I ask what languages do you speak? I've never moved from my city, the longest I've been away from home is about two and a half weeks haha. And of course, the classic question: how did you get into anime? :3
