I'll have to check that out. Don't know if you checked the discussion recently but this is one of the biggest shitstorms I've seen! The amount of hate and trolling is just insane. They even went as far as to make a whole thread about it. I'm seeing more bullshit like hating on the uniforms they wear or saying Tatsuya's power is explained as much as Kirito's dual swords. I can only think its going to get worse *sigh*

Weren't they ever told not to judge a book by its cover? People are already saying its a harem now. They need to get their heads out of their ass. I have hardly dropped any anime because I always give it a chance before making a decision. I just don't understand why people feel the need to compare everything all the time?

I hope you're right. If all the explanations about everything get cut out, then its not going to end well. Same with Tatsuya's monologues, I think they're really important for character development as you get a better understanding of how he thinks. On a side note, I wish people would stop with the whole incest shit. Since when is caring about a relative incest?

I know. My expectations have somewhat lowered after this episode but we'll just have to see how it goes from here on. Honestly the whole Material Burst thing in the beginning was totally unnecessary. I'm doubting whether or not they'll include Tatsuya's monologues. Since they seem to be skipping lots of details. It makes me wonder if Madhouse have even read the novel. When Azusa came to get Mayumi I was like wtf is this? I'm pretty sure Tatsuya ignored Mayumi and just walked off.

First episode of Mahouka was okay. As a novel reader, everything was in the wrong order, it felt so weird. They also practically cut every info dump about the CAD, Student Council, what makes someone a Bloom or a Weed. For someone who has not read the novel, this episode probably made no sense at all.
