I didn't say anything about the name in question being a unique ident or key for any particular entry. I said the "main" name is easier to admin if you only have to enter it once and have a separate section to add alternative titles when they happen. I have also mentioned that the alternative titles are still in use on the site in places like the search function and the pages themselves.
