hey sir, I saw your review on biao ren and wondered where you read it. It's currently on chapter 106 on the site I'm reading it from. If you could pass the name or link of the website you read it from then it would be greatly appreciated
Hell yeah x) . Apparently the fanbase is having a meltdown after the last chapter. I'd like to say I feel bad for them, but... honestly, this was the best case scenario. Hopefully they'll learn to be less toxic now.
Thanks buddy! I honestly agree with you. Luckily, not everyone in this fanbase is like that. My big brother is a huge AOT fan, but we still manage to have decent talks about it. I can't say as much with most of that fanbase online, sadly...
Besides, it's not like it was my rating for the anime, lol. It's the manga I don't like. The anime, I enjoy it (not for the story though).

um, hello... speedreader department?
I literally only read 10 chapters of Vagabond, so Im talking base of what I've seen so far and what I expect when it comes to these type of series, the plots are generally straight forward. I even said I could be wrong.
I did not tell anyone anything, he simple saw the discussion on ny page, and because he is passionate about snk he felt the need to make his point. and Im talking about Vagaband base on the chapters I read, maybe Im wrong, but I dont see how a sword battle manga will have a complicated plot, and no disrespect to vagabond, but it does not need to have one to be considered great.
Yes it is suppose to be shocking to your average readers, which was the case, but person that pays attention to the story would not be shocked, they would have had the feeling of I knew it! Or disappointment simple because they predicted it, and then we have people like you that simple did not understand it or pay enough attention.
Vagaband plot is straight forward as dbz, its fight and likable characters is what makes it great, you dont need to reread vagaband to understand such a thin plot.
And yes, I will enjoy the best manga Japan has ever produce!
I strongly disagree with your opinion, and I strongly believe your opinion would change significantly if you just reread the series, because this is one of those series that is more appreciated when re read, this is also a series that you should keep a final judgement until it ends, because there is a lot of times people was wondering what Isayama was doing and they thought there critcism was legit, until the author prove to them wrong.
You are also one of those people and sadly you will always be one of those people because you did not give the series the reread it deserved!
Basically what you are getting at is that you didn't like the direction, so whether it was foreshadowed or not is irrelevant, thanks to point that out, because I would have wasted my time finding more hints, just for you to make my effort seem pointless.
Well, I like the direction and many others do.
btw the reveal was not shocking to people like me that were paying attention to the series, but your average fans that just speed read it were shock, and they are the majority, that is why I said that.
If you want to debate or make a topic about this, go on the snk subreddit, and there you will get detail analysis from other snk fans, I'm not going to waste my time with you anymore.
I already told you to reread the manga and you wont, because I'm sure you miss out or forgot a lot of important stuff, or things that at first glance you thought was not important.
They literally called Zeke Warchief, I also mention the canned food, that literally means there is a lot of people outside the wall, how are canned food made? By a factory, and if there is a facotry producing canned food it means there is a lot of people consuming the product. The point is, he gave enough proof to say there is atleast a civilization out there that other humans lived other than inside the wall. http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Shingeki-no-Kyojin/Episode-038?id=326153#31
If he had gone more blatant about it, it would kill the reveal completely, because it would be a underwhelming reveal, that is why he was careful to not give the readers to much hints, but enough to not say it came out of the blue.
He gave more hints that there is a civilization out there, and little hints that the world is like our world outside the wall, he did this so readers where expecting that outside was just civilization or a village of titan shifters, than what the actually reveal would be.
To your last paragraph, Just like how the humans inside the wall was not aware that they were a discriminated race and thus why they lived inside the walls, we the readers would also be in the dark, but there was one person that knows the truth, and that was the person that has the coordinate/founding titan, and who has royal blood.
That person was Frieda, she knew all the secrets and in this page http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Shingeki-no-Kyojin/Episode-066?id=326181#6 at the bottom panel, Historia said that Frieda said we were sinners this is basically what the Marley is saying that Eldians are sinners for killing there people blah, blah, so we the readers were wondering what does it mean when she say we are sinners? Well we found out after the basement reveal.
So I disagree with your opinion, there is a lot of hints/foreshadowing which hints to what we are seeing now in the latest chapter. There is many more hints like those, you will just have to reread the series to see those, This series imo is more appreciated when you reread it and see how well connected each arcs actually are and how well the author foreshadowed later events.
You forgot hints, for example that tin can, back in castle utguard that Ymir found, it was made out side the wall, meaning its manufactured, so that was a hint that there is civilization outside the wall, another one is the syringe that were made even hanji hint that this technology is way more advance than theirs.
And finally, Reiner, bertholdt and Annie, the most come from somewhere? I'm sure there is even more hints if a look deep into it, but it would not be a plot twist in the first place, if we knew about Marley and the outside world in the first place.
I saw your snk review, could you please point out a plot point that you said came out of nowhere? I've heard those times of criticism many time before, and what I realise is that most people speed read the series or simple forget foreshadowing and quickly came to the conclusion stuff where ass pull.

The author even started to drop more hints that the outside world is normal like our world, when the beast titan even made a baseball reference. http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Shingeki-no-Kyojin/Chapter-079?id=326194#23

So I'm really interested in what you have to say.
