Frieren isn't bad but just awfully average. There's nothing about it that's inherently unique. That's my only gripe with it.

Guys Frieren is the highest rated anime on mal. Its manga is making bank. Everyone on youtube and twitter loves it. It has a 9.30 score with 350k+ people giving it a 10 (most in MAL history). Anime was a huge success in both Japan and west. A second season is coming up.

Aren't yall tired of all this winning. I think its doing ok without this guy liking it. Relax.

retarded freemen review lol. the characters were all bland and emotionless? Unlike most anime, the characters aren't squealing and having generic cringe over the top reactions to everything. Id argue the realism behind them is what makes the show good. bro thinks bakemonogatari over sexualizing 10 year olds is emotion full human

Can I just say: I only just stumbled upon your Frieren review and as a KonoSuba fan I think your comparison of Frieren being the grandest cookie cutter example of exactly what KonoSuba was designed to make fun of is legendary. I really love how pretentious but ultimately simple-minded the Frieren crowd is. Go off king, I fully agree with everything you said in that review and I think you articulated all the gripes I had with the show greater than I was able to do myself.

While I found some very specific highlights in Frieren to be a bit more compelling than you gave them credit for, it is very refreshing to find someone verbalizing the bulk of the problems I had with the show. Cheers.
