It's been so long since we've talked! It's all my fault, so please accept my apologies!

I do have to agree with everyone about the final episode. It felt so rushed with the insane buildup that it had. That's actually the only reason why I gave the show a 9 and not a 10. If the ending would have been split into 2 episodes or maybe just elaborated on a bit more, I would have considered it a masterpiece. I think the thing that captivated me the most about the show was the fact that when I started it, I thought it was going to be a cute comedy with an arrogantly funny main character (similar to Amagi Brilliant Park which I had just finished before I started Charlotte), but then, the more I watched it, the darker it got <3
For example:

I just really wasn't expecting that turn of events after the first couple of cute episodes. I loved that about the show <3

And omg yes! That confession scene was amazing. There was no cliche buildup for it or anything. He just went and BAM said he loved her. I was so happy :3

I'm so happy somebody agrees about the amazing character development in the show. I don't know if you've read the manga, but he continues to develop throughout the sequel of it (:RE). It's amazing the amount of trauma a single character is able to withstand in order to protect what is most precious to them. That's what I love the most about Tokyo Ghoul: the fact that most characters have their own issues that make them a bit crazy in other's eyes/pov (i.e. Juuzou, Yamori, Ayato, Eto, etc.)

Ajin is actually very similar to the 2 shows, as well. I've read a decent amount of chapters of it, but I've only seen 1 episode of the show so I don't know if it follows the manga the way it should. It's currently airing if you want to check it out (if you haven't already).

You are such an interesting person. So many people find it weird when I tell them that I am utterly obsessed with the way people think (how, why, etc.) and the way they act upon those thoughts. It's been an obsession of mine for so long now and it makes some people feel uncomfortable, especially because I have a fascination with I just think we as humans are interesting because everyone is so vastly different from one another. I hope you understand what I'm saying, and I'm sure you do because from what you said, I can tell that you love humans because we are mysterious and unpredictable creatures.
