Both of these anime feature sci-fi worlds in which a deadly disease is causing people to slowly crystallize after becoming infected but sometimes this disease manifests differently in certain individuals causing them to have special powers & attributes. Both of these anime have completely amazing sci-fi concepts that focuses on human nature and I can't really compare them to anything else in anime because there so unique, I would highly recommended watching both.

Both anime series are about kaiju (monsters) emerging from the ocean then trying to invade the surface and wage war on humanity. All of mankind must work together in order to out-fight and out-smart the kaiju enemy that's constantly evolving into deadlier and deadlier variations of it's kind. Godzilla S.P. is more of a mecha/sci-fi anime with a great original story taken from classic Godzilla concepts. While Nobunagun is a really cool super power/sci-fi anime that reinvents the alien invasion sub-genre with it's gritty contrasting manga like art style, it's gunfighting, militaria otaku knowledge and historical concept. I would definitely recommend watching both. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25.

Both anime are about Mc's that can transfer their consciousness into a dreamlike alternate world, the dreamworld's can also be very captivating, dangerous, psychological and surreal in both anime. I would say that Yumekui Merry (Dreameater Merry) is a more lighthearted approach to the dreamworld fantasy sub-genre and while Wonder Egg Priority can also be very lighthearted at times it does feature some much darker and more disturbing subject matter happening in both of it's worlds. Both are great anime so if you liked one I would definitely recommend checking out the other. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25.

Both anime are episodic by nature (for the most part), they are about individuals who commit murder at the request of others. They do not kill for the sake of any ideology but rather because of a lack of an ideology, ruthlessly carrying out their assignments with machine like indifference. Above all else they do not discriminate, taking no sides and having no allegiances because they themselves do not choose their targets. All they ask for is a price in jigoku shojo's (hell girl's) case it's the cost of the contracted person's soul after they die. In the case of Golgo13 (Duke Togo) it's the price of 3 million dollars or whatever price for the job he deems acceptable. For this "simple" fee you can eliminate anyone or any problem for any reason. These are completely similar in tone and theme, their dark, psychological, thriller anime with calculating serial killer mc's that have ice in their veins. Both of these mc's are ruthless pathological liars and the only thing that surpasses the cold blooded indifference they have for their victims is their razer sharp and dangerously unparalleled intelligence. Which they exploit every chance they get in order to keep everyone dancing to their tune right in the palm of their hands. All the while piling up body's with almost no one the wiser, there seems to really only be one character in each story that can even hope to comprehend and challenge the twisted genius of these two murderous masterminds. They use these magical abilities in combination with military tech in order to wage an all out war against a seemingly endless alien invasion. The exact goals of the these invaders is unknown but a key part of their plan seems to hinge on occupying and destroying as much human territory as possible. Both are military sci-fi anime featuring mecha with similar settings that mostly take place in outer space, they are about war and military/political conflict. Both of them are about a princess who becomes the leader of a powerful militarily/political organization in order to fight for their dreams and for the future of humanity. As a result the princess is inevitably seen by her people and supporters as a symbol of hope, unity and revolution. The mc is one of the soldiers that has chosen to fight along side the princess, they are extraordinarily powerful and their name becomes synonymous with victory for them and their allies on the battlefield. As the princess and the mc spend more time together they come to deeply care for and love one another both wanting to protect their precious person(s) from danger even if it means being apart from each other. As the conflict intensifies into all-out total warfare only two possible futures remain for them absolute victory or utter annihilation. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25

Both anime (and I'm referring to both franchises in there entirety) are cyberpunk themed shows about people who are androids, robots, bio-androids, ect. they are often persecuted and segregated by society for not being "human". Despite this oppression and inequality in their societies the female mc's in both anime are able to find reliable and caring human partners who accept and love them for the people they are. Together the two lovers in both anime fight back against the world in all it's injustice and bear their fangs at society in order to change them for the better. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25.

Both are terrific dark fantasy/horror anime about monsters who have to fight and kill in order to survive and have a place in their worlds. They both feature monsters that are still quite human and behave accordingly who are able to feel remorse, sadness, loneliness they even cry and are afraid of "dying"(loseing their current selves). The contrasting dark and colorful art works perfectly with both stories, the characters and the tones that they set make both anime masterpieces. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25
