ひさしぶりです！
Yes! I was able to watch it! Even if it was dubbed in italian... but it wasn't too bad and man, when it ended I didn't know what hit me.
I had to take a breather and I was shaking as well (I guess that's what cinemas do to you if you haven't gone in ages), as for my mom... well,
she was in tears. She still rates Spirited Away higher, don't know why though, but it did win the Oscar so gotta give them that. and 君の名は wasn't even nominated -.- Anyway, the atmosphere in the cinema was great! There were Japanese too who filled half a row!
The movie was great overall, people criticized the plot but I didn't care and gave it a 10/10, also while we were leaving we walked by a group of Italians and overheard them saying that the choice of the soundtrack was "meh", I screamed "BLASPHEMY"... in my head... oh well, everyone has their own taste. But I honestly can't choose an OST as my favorite for how good they are (by the way some songs were released in english, if you were out of the loop).
There was that scene where Mitsuha runs her way back to town to find her father then "brutally" falls rolling on the ground, it reminded me of how I fell the same way one time and when my mom brings it up every time she makes fun of me saying that I looked like a rolling egg... so yeah, I had a different reaction than the others when I saw that scene, while others were like "Oh no...", I was laughing up my sleeve.
I also felt that watching the movie with more than 50 people it added something more to the experience, apart from that girl in the back "huh?"-ing at every part she didn't understand, it was cool to laugh with other people at the おっぱい touching scenes.

Colorful was a good watch, didn't expect it to be this dark. I was going to drop it half way but then I saw おかあさん attempting to burn herself,
I really thought she was going to do it so I started cheering for her in the second part of the movie. Then when the MC began bullying her mother, I loved how she still took care of him and hated how Makoto rejected her everytime. The movie in the end made me appreciate my mother more, and everything she did/does for me. Great movie, could've had more feels indeed.

If you know what Karuta is and like it then I'd recommend it, but if you don't then watch the first episodes to see what is it like because that's what it's all about (+some romance).

It's hard to resist to that temptation, especially when Seiren and KonoSuba include those type of scenes... and I bet you dropped Seiren because of that (and the slow ass plot of course, speaking of which! It's ridicolous how much you can show in just 4 min! It's like "ImGoingToWorkThisSummer!OhLookThey'reLookingForWorkersAtThisRestaurant!おじゃまします...はい!Here'sYourUniform!YouStartToday,Here!MemorizeAllOfThis!えええええIDon'tKnowIfIcanDoThis... Oh!せんぱいすごいおしえてくださいED."). I think I'll stick with it just to get the weekly dose of Ayaneru... It's not for the "plot" I swear! I'm glad there's KonoSuba to make us laugh this season (almost forgot why I gave it a 9 last season)
I was wondering what KyoAni had in store for us this winter! Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon looks interesting. Is it worth watching?
Meanwhile I've finished watching another show from them which is Tamako Market! I just had this feeling to watch more of KyoAni art lately (probably because I miss Hibike?) and it made me appreciate Tamako Market even more, I've actually tried to watch it before but dropped it because of the pace of the first episodes @_@
Many recommended to watch the series just because of the movie (which I'll watch soon) but I enjoyed the series and I almost teared up too... How couldn't I with an OST like this?!

So I showed my mom a couple of anime movies: one is Spirited Away and she liked it so much that she wants to rewatch it again! The other is Wolf Children which was okay and remembered of her hard times as a mother... xD She'll probably create an account on MAL now and watch all anime movie in existence... but I'm relieved to see that she wants to watch more animated movies! But I fear that she'll ask many questions while watching Kimi no Na Wa about the parts she doesn't understand that I won't be focused on the movie T_T

Ah! I saw that clip on reddit and it almost made me want to watch it... The inner me still wants to watch ecchi (；一_一)

23rd is getting closer and I think of going, with my mom, to watch Kimi no Na Wa even if it's dubbed. Meanwhile it's been made available to watch in-flights on certain airlines... Too bad I'm not planning to go anywhere the next months D: IT'S ALSO THE SUBBED VERSION DAMN IT
Looks like we definitely won't be getting Hibike! Euphonium 3 for the lack of source material. I'm going to miss the noises Kumiko made, the performances and shiny instruments T_T and obviously Ribbon-girl... RIP.

I haven't watched Amagami SS but Seiren looks so similar that it looks like a sequel, also the characters look the same that I'm getting confused but I definitely can distinguish Hikari cause of Ayaneru! The pacing is so slow I'm not used to it anymore after watching so many sport anime, I might want to watch some romance since Haikyuu!! has none. I'm glad you finished it, it's such an underrated anime and more people should see it! I should probably show it to my friends in church since it has "What a friend we have in Jesus" in it, maybe that will change their idea of anime (I invited them to watch Kimi no Na Wa the 23rd but they refused).

I've already mentioned it but there's a movie coming up for Planetarian! The bluray will be released in February the 24th so prepare yourself to punch those walls and get ready for another crying session (ಥ﹏ಥ) By the way what was the ecchi show?

Well it's hard to beat this view of the Big Ben with just a balldrop branded Toshiba... silly 'mericans, I think you guys win this year! Meanwhile in Rome nothing spectacular happened. This damn mayor doesn't allow fireworks to be launched within 200m of residential areas so the view was disappointing from my roof compared to last years where you usually are surrounded with fireworks.

I didn't know 24" 1440p monitors existed! I felt overwhelmed as well when I first got it mine! - Are you sure it's the card? It might be the type of connector that you're using, when I was searching for a monitor I read that some cables don't support 144Hz (hdmi and vga for example are limited to 100/120hz).
My GPU is actually quite silent despite having 3 fans, maybe it does a little bit of noise when playing games on high settings but I don't really hear anything (since I'm wearing headphones 24/7) coming from the case other than the old 144GB HDD which I rarely use. I thought of upgrading to liquid cooling in the summer but it felt unnecessary and the Hyper 212 Evo keeps the temperatures low anyway even after overclocking the CPU from 3.9 to 4.4 Ghz (not a big jump I know).

2016 sure did bless us with some great anime! You missed Kimi no Na wa in your top-anime-per-season list! Or maybe you consider it as best anime of all time so it shouldn't even be listed? Oh, and let's not forget about Shelter! Do you think Hibike! will get a 3rd season? The ED gave me the impression that there won't be a sequel T_T Do you think Yuuko is fit to the role of ぶちょう? Won't she have preferences? Like in the first season when she wanted Kaori to play the solo instead of Reina solely because she admired her? Maybe she just matured and Natsuki will keep her in check... I'm not complaining or anything! I actually don't mind seeing Yuuko getting mad more often!

2017 is a year to look forward to! Not only because of KonoSuba and Sakura Quest but also Attack on Titan 2, One Punch Man 2 (are you sure you don't want to watch it yet?), the SAO movie (not sure what to expect), No Game No Life movie, Kizumonogatari 3 (can't wait) and hopefully Violet Evergarden? (The trailer leaves me speechless everytime I watch it, it's like KyoAni is pouring their whole budget into this) I also hope to see the 4th season of Symphogear this year, the plot isn't best but damn it's an eargasmic show. So if you're into J-Pop you might like this! I really should stop recommending you anime for a while or that PTW list will reach 60 shows...
I see you've changed yours as well! I might watch Flip Flappers when I'll be done with Haikyuu!! I'm just burning through the episodes so it won't take long.

You and my german friend share the same taste in games! Both of you play lots of simulators though he's more focused on cars and racing while you're more into trains but he isn't into anime unlike us weebs.

I agree, it didn't feel like a conclusive episode. The scene where Chitose fell while running on a slippery sidewalk reminds of Mari when she was running through the rain to Kanan. I'm going to miss a character like Chii-sama That gif can be so misleading..., someone who just says what's on her mind and is self-centered and cocky.
I'd love to have more MC like her in anime... I just hope for a second season. That T-shirt... WANT!

Cross-game gave me the motivation to watch more sport anime and Haikyuu!! is a pretty good anime! The ratings don't lie - I'm glad I got 40 more episodes to go! I love its comedy and I love how can anime can make a sport look cool. If I had to use a clip to convince you to watch it I'd probably use this scene. It's just a minor spoiler and the OP shows it anyway. So far I've watched "only" 10 episodes but I'd give it a 9/10 already! But don't forget that you got over 50 PTW shows on your list!

I would love another Shirobako styled anime! The MC looks like a mix of Yui for that hairclip and Aoi for the hairstyle... kind of...

Oh look, first we don't get to see the Christmas live concert in Girlish Number and now we won't be able to see the performance of Kitauji High in Hibike. How nice. I guess that works for this episode but I forgive them for playing 3 of my favorite OST in the same episode! Not only that! Masako got a line! Best Christmas present ever! I didn't expect bronze at all. I was so sure that they were going to get gold then the next scene at the group picture I was like "HOW CAN YOU BE SAD?! YOU GOT GO- oh..." I had the same reaction as Kumiko when Reina confessed and I definitely expected a different reaction from Taki Sensei and the others... I also felt like tearing up when Kumiko was chasing Onee-san and I'm not sure why but Mamiko reminded me of Maki (from Love Live) when she yelled だいすきだよ！ Now I wonder what the next episode will be about.

I didn't expect Girlish Number's last episode to air during Christmas! I totally forgot that was the title of that song, it definitely sounds like Kuzu-P's ringtone! Not really a fan of the ED and the other single, sounds like it's from Yuru Yuri, I prefer the Momoka x Kazuha single which I almost forgot being the very first song in the series I hope I'll find the time to watch the last episode these days... Oh! I almost forgot! メリー クリスマス!

Ugh, I hate myself for being impatient. The LG I wanted went out of stock right when I got the money so I ordered the XL2411 ￣\_(ツ)_/￣ I would've told you how the LG was so you didn't have to look around. So far I'm satisfied with the BenQ, I was blown away by the size! (...coming from a 20") I'd setup my old monitor so that I have 2 monitors but my desk can't fit them both D: If you're getting one too then you'll have to spend some time calibrating the colors.
Rotating the monitor in portrait mode is also cool! 未来ずら！ It's satisfying to browse reddit and other scrolling websites like this! too bad I don't code If you're patient I'd say to wait and go for the LG, if you still didn't buy the Asus that is, but if you can't wait then the XL2411 is fine overall.

Now, here's a bad news. Kimi no Na Wa got dubbed and I don't know if I should go watch it, I didn't watch a dubbed anime since I first started and the female MC's (I suppose?) voice doesn't sound fitting to me. An even worse news is that I read that the bluray will be released on the 27th of October (rumors say it's a place holder date but still) どうしよう？！

This scene in the trailer is the reason why I started watching it and I missed the action and explosions... well, after 50 episodes of baseball I guess it's understandable I didn't enjoy the plot as much as I did with AoT, and I probably would've dropped it if it weren't for Mumei (and if I had the money I probably would've ordered her figure already) I just love her character design - I couldn't follow the story well, I couldn't remember who was who in the first episodes either but it was fine by episode 7. Kajika looks like a matured Kanata to me xD I was going to give it a 7/10 but they earned a point with that ending (and maybe I'm too generous with the ratings).
Not really excited for season 2 but I'll probably watch it if I got nothing else to watch.

Finally something moved in Girlish Number! I thought it was going to be 24 min of nothing happening. Not much to comment on this episode but I like Kansai girl even more now! This scene made me burst out laughing and that moment of silence... じゅんすい ばか！The "Hawa!" from Yaepon was so cute Also when Gojou-kun tried to compliment Chii-sama xD Finally he gave her the gift! Wait what? Is that a SORE ARU?! I'm not sure which song you're referring to, and I don't recognize Kuzu-P's ringtone :/
Looks like I'm wrong with my calculation on Hibike! I love how the drama doesn't drag for so long in the episodes, Reina just accepts it and already focuses on the Nationals like she has a switch or something. I hope that means more music and shiny instruments on screen in the next episodes!

It's nice that you and your father have a shared passion! My father and I really liked to watch back-to-back cricket matches the whole day but we didn't just sit back! We even played it too! We had a bat and 5 balls sent from India, and we made our own wickets. Italians were joining us as well whenever we went to the park but they didn't really how to play but it was fun nonetheless. We didn't spend much time together these past few years for various reasons but I hope we find the time to play again together sometime in the future.
I also said no to ATI/AMD but I still bought a R9 290, I've never had anything that was ATI/AMD branded but of course the first thing I buy has issues.
When I slotted it in and booted up it was just showing a black screen but the fans were spinning, maybe it was just a faulty card but I turned it back anyway.
After a week waiting for a refund (didn't even receive a full one) I ordered the GTX 970 which is the current GPU I'm using. So yeah, ATI/AMD? Never again.
About the monitor, I was thinking of getting the BenQ XL2411 but the price went up by 25€ (it was 275€ one month ago, so I guess it's because of Christmas) so I thought of getting the Asus that is also on your list! But to be honest I just can't stand that ugly stand... See what I did there?!?! and I also read that it's a little bit outdated (came out in 2013) and both of these monitors got washed out colors/terrible image quality. Maybe check out some monitors from AOC - I heard that they're the best in terms of responsiveness (if you're on a budget) as for me I don't really like that brushed metal look they got. If you're like me and willing to spend 300€ / ~250£ or even a little more then there's the 23.6" ViewSonic XG2401 or the 24" LG 24GM77, both 144hz and 1080p and I've heard only good things about them. I'm not sure when will my promised money arrive, but I can't wait to try the LG out!

Ugh, that was a rather frustrating Girlish Number episode. Like what the hell, only showing a slideshow of the performance? Especially in those Christmas outfits - We don't get them often! Nanami is really starting to get on my nerves, "nice-joke"-kun too. I think they would be perfect together so maybe a swap of managers will happen... And Gojou-kun! Give Chitose that プレザント already! To make it even more frustrating there's not a single second of Kazuha nor Momoka... くやし!

Thanks for pointing out those two sisters! I haven't noticed them not sure why, I might have looked away that split second for whatever reason and missed this contrast between adults and teens - Hibike! really does a good job portraying reality - I was expecting the "だいじょぶですか？" from a passenger though, felt real indeed. MAL shows that it's going to be 13 episodes so I'm guessing one and a half episode will be about Reina's depression? And the other half and final episode will be the 全国? I'm confused about Mamiko as well, did that sisterly talk solve the issue? I hope so. I don't want to wait another year just to see the Nationals...
I wonder if a second Team Monaka OVA will be released, I would love one that is about the percussionists and it's not hard to guess why.

I guess acoustic is the closest it can get to describe this feeling! I just hope to find more like these - certainly looking forward to new songs from miwa, she even covered Nandemonaiya from Kimi no Na wa I swear I stopped listening to the OST! It'd be nice to hear her voicing an anime character, her voice alone it would make the character cute no matter how it looks like!
I don't know about Aoba's song... I feel like K-On has its own distinctive sound and 春色Runway doesn't have this, it might just be me though.

My old pc is definitely the same old broom xD as I can't switch parts out since it's a prebuilt. I felt pretty stupid for buying one when I learned that I could build one for a cheaper price and get better parts but it was my first pc and I didn't know how to put it all together, so I guess it's an understandable mistake? After being stuck with it for 6 years I finally upgraded to a better one, from scratch this time, and went from a core 2 quad to an i5 4690k and from a 9600GT to a GTX 970 (I was quite lucky getting it for 300€ after a couple of months from the release), the former combo served me well and ran games pretty decently and also made so many memories with it- it's pretty funny, when I got my new pc all set I wanted to add the HDDs from the old pc but couldn't get them out as they were "caged" and couldn't screw them out and the other side panel was sealed (that's prebuilt PCs for you) I was lucky the SATA cables were long enough to reach the motherboard of the new computer so I could at least copy data from them and it felt like performing a surgery! Anyway I'm planning to upgrading my monitor this Christmas, I've been playing games on 60/75 Hz at 1650x1050 these past years and I really want to try out the glorious 144 Hz that might improve my reading ability on Osu!
So enough of me, what are your current specs? What are you buying next? And is your dad interested in gaming?

A question about Keigo: is it true that in the service industry, that you as a costumer you're expected to speak in casual form while they talk to you in Keigo?

Yep that's a thing! In fact that's my way of eating while my parents just mix everything and I'm like "why...?"- Also the overdose of pasta is true, I'd eat it 24/7 and would never get tired of it though some italians avoid carbohydrates at dinner because they think it makes you fat.

Hearing Hifumi sing is so calming - I expected something different when I listened to the Kou x Rin duet (Hikasa Yoko - Kayano Ai) I expected something more relaxing, though it wouldn't be bad as an OP! Jumping from an anime to another! I discovered that this gem of a song is bundled with the OP of Flying Witch! I'm starting to love Miwa's voice. Do you know any similar songs? I find Aki Toyosaki's "letter writer" has the same "feeling" not sure how to call it, maybe country-ish?

That is really quite extreme! I can't even compete with that! In comparison I look like an Indian (most of my internet friends expect me to be short and chubby but in reality I'm just tall and skinny as I really like to run a lot and don't eat much) Speaking of food - I'm lucky I was born here in Italy enjoying Pasta, Lasagna and Cannolis but I really missed them when I went to the Philippines to visit my relatives. It was all rice, from breakfast to dinner, I wasn't really used to it.
The night we went out to eat at a restaurant I almost teared up out of joy when I saw Pasta al Pesto in the menù xD So Filipino cuisine isn't really my favorite,

I don't really have an heavy italian accent when speaking english, at least the American Pastor of the church said so. I think if your native language is italian learning Japanese will be slightly easier when pronouncing the words, and reading romaji.
I can't really confirm this since I don't know any other italian that wants to learn 日本語...
I too have the convenience of an Italian passport! When I first got it I thought it wasn't a big deal but I'm learning its value now with this whole UK trip talk.

I was like: Chitose will come out anytime soon now... aaaanytime... it will be at this scene for sure!... but instead she just got a mere 15 seconds scene at the end.
I'm not complaining! It was a really calming episode and I sure did meowtice that cat-loving-moment! Can you imagine if Wataru Watari named the characters like the way he did with Oregairu? Shibasaki would probably be Shibasaki, Saki - Momotami, Momoka - Kotoku, Koto... I don't know... I just came up with these names...

ハーフ Japanese? Haha! I wish! If I was one I wouldn't be learning Japanese... I think. My case is quite curious: my mom's from the Philippines, my dad's Indian and both met here in Italy where I was born. I know neither of their languages and their italian is also quite bad even though they've been living here for 20+ years so I kinda have to be their mediator, then there's me who wants to learn Japanese out of the blue xD I should've probably went to a language school instead of choosing finance and marketing. My relatives in Nagoya are the cousins of my mother meaning they're Filipinos but I've never spoke/met them yet. I'll probably visit them when I'll go to the Philippines so that the ticket to Japan will be cheaper.

I actually get called "Nii-s4n" a lot on reddit! (speaking of which! Someone actually fulfilled my request to render Zuka-chan!)
A little off-topic here but did you know that Nissan uses the number 23 in races so it reads Ni(2)-san(3)? Reading all these puns in Japanese makes me want to learn them all! Me and my german friend actually chat in "puns". For example we type "9" whenever we want to say "no" since in english you read it as nine and in german it means no pretty sure I didn't have to explain that, oh well if we keep typing like this we'll probably become lazy typers...

Ah yes, Fune wo Amu. I've read synopsis and found it interesting I'm not sure what to expect though.
