Yep, I remember a few years ago when I first started watching anime I didn't even know subs existed, I thought everything was perfect the way it was.... then I watched something online and it was subs, so now I pretty much stay away from dubs.
Haha, I practically re-watched all the animes I watched in dubs when I found out.
And yeah, sorry, even I usually have to read a sentence twice when dubs and subs are in it, just to find out which is which. xD

Yeah, I think it would have been better if he wasn't caught too. Although I have to admit, Light was going kinda crazy in the end there. xD
Actually, the first time I ever watched Ghost hunt it was in English, but a few months later I watched it in subs and everything was so much clearer to me. Haha, dubs kinda confuses people some times, since a lot of the terms aren't what they use in subs. But maybe that's just my opinion, I dunno.

Haha, when Nair did that it annoyed the hell out of me. And yeah, I got so angry when they killed him off, I really didn't want to continue, but I wanted to find out what happened with Light so I forced myself to continue.
Most of the episodes of Ghost hunt gave me nightmares. xD

Anime must have some sort of edge to it. Haha I'm sorry but I couldn't help at your question, but it's alright. Ecchi is when there are some really perverted moments in an anime. Like panty shots, crotches in people's faces, people falling on top of each other (If a guy falls onto a girl, the guy may accidentally grab her chest and say Soft?) It's usually guys that fall onto girls. That my friend is what ecchi is. I probably left out a few definitions. It's fine, I'm still a bit of an amateur myself!

I ended up watching death note about 5 times, always stopping at the part he died at, one time I finally just sucked it up and finished it. I didn't really like Nair. L... was just.... better.
Haha, Ghost hunt was good, scared the hell outta me though. Expecially the episodes with the creepy doll. I think it was episode 3-4 that the doll was in.

True, true fantasy is helpful in some slice of life animes. In anime, there has to be a fair amount of ecchi in it, a bit of romance maybe, and definitely some action and drama in it.

It wasn't hard to watch, it did get kinda confusing, but like I said, I only watched about 3 episodes. haha, it was fine in the beginning, it just kept switching scenes and didn't focus on only one person, or only one small group of people.
And I did like deathnote, it was interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat, but I dunno. After around the 25th episode or so, when L died, I always lost interest in it. I loved L. xD
And I lied, I do like mystery, but basically only the type of mystery that deals with the supernatural, like Ghost Hunt and things like that.
