It's going fine, I guess, haha. Yeah, I still use CAG, though the Anime thread isn't as active as it once was, so I don't post in it as often as I used to. I'll reply to your post and let you know what are some good shows that you missed/are currently airing.
Oh, and like I said elsewhere to you, I am going to Anime Expo.
Yeaaaaaaaaah. I wasn't exactly planning for this; it kind of just happened on its own. I'm already pretty involved, so I don't think I'll be dropping anything, though that's probably against my better judgement, haha.
Yeah, Summer Wars is really amazing. I guess we can finally agree on something, haha. :P
Speaking of the Eden of the East movie, I just got that in the mail a week or two ago. Isn't there a second movie though? I'd rather just wait till everything is out before I start watching Eden of the East.
Steins;Gate is pretty good. I like the mystery and its connection to the real world. SERN = CERN, IBN = IBM, and of course the Large Hadron Collider is the Large Hadron Collider, haha. Plus, it's actually technologically savvy and sound; mentioning BASIC and SQL databases was pretty cool.
What did you think of Deadman Wonderland and C? I enjoyed them both, but I had some problems with Deadman Wonderland. I had trouble suspending my disbelief for Deadman Wonderland; it doesn't make sense for his lawyer to be the warden of the prison, and I don't understand how anyone could think one boy could brutally murder almost 30 people without anyone getting away, not to mention the classroom was destroyed — something no ordinary boy could manage. C is pretty cool because it seems to be a contemporary Faustian tale, and it looks like it'll be fairly strange and interesting.
Yeah, Hanasaku Iroha is really good so far. It has the potential to be a great coming of age story with such a wonderful main character. My only complaints are that Minko and Nako seem like stereotypical archetypes; there's plenty of time for them to grow, so maybe their respective bitchy and wimpy personalities are really just superficial and they're not actually just one dimensional.
As for Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, it's absolutely amazing; as you can see, I added it to my favorites list. I even had a major plot event spoiled for me right before I saw it, and I was still heavily affected by the story despite that inconvenience. It's really a shame no one's licensed it; I don't know why not considering how good it is. Plus, I would think it would sell well here, since disaster movies usually fare well.
That's what people tell me, but I don't consider it *that* tough, haha.
I might just wait until both of the Eden of the East movies get released before watching the show, since I hear the ending is pretty open. God knows I have a million other shows I've bought to watch, haha.
Wandering Son is great, but it's not blowing me away like I was hoping; Level E, on the other hand, was a complete surprise — it's really funny.
It's been a while since I've seen FLCL, but I remember enjoying it. It's pretty crazy.
Nothing much; I'm almost done with my last semester of college, which is awesome.
I haven't watched Eden of the East yet, but it's good to hear that it's a great show.
Uh, the Winter season is good. I think Level E and Mitsudomoe are the best shows of this season that I've seen. Speaking of Durarara, have you seen Princess Jellyfish? It's made by the same people as Durarara, but it's infinitely better, though it's nothing like Durarara.

Hopefully Funimation releases Princess Jellyfish on Blu-ray; I really loved the show, though the ending was awful.
I might be interested in a Durarara English dub, but I don't like the show, so it sounds like a trap, haha.

It's pretty out there, though, and still incredibly enjoyable at the same time.
