Ahh i never see it as comedy, i saw chuunibyou as drama.. a strong melodrama
first you must know what the meaning of chuunibyou itself.. for me chuunibyou itself not something cute(even they are cute.. kyahh >.<) but it's a mental disorder where it occurs on most case the one that got bullied at school or home.. they decide to make their own world as an escape from reality.
Yes, if you get what i trying said, you will know the plot value of this anime is really great... \
