That reminded me of Shinsekai Yori; the first 5/6 episodes are a snooze fest: a lot of background information which can be easily forgotten. After that, the story finally picked up and I ended up loving it.
Same for me, since it's episodic I can watch it whenever I want without being worried about forgetting key details. My main now is Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu and also Shingeki no Kyojin.

Yes, ever since I joined MAL I've started to watch more and more anime. Before coming here I used to watch 1 show at a time and that was it. It was mainly because I didn't know what to watch honestly.
