The anime I like the most are those that try to communicate a greater meaning. I really love the more philosophical type shows. The quieter ones with more mild reactions. The ones that make you think.
However, I have watched and can appreciate titles from almost any genre.
I just like anime as a medium in general.
The way I rate the anime I watch is generally as follow:
10: I deeply related to the anime or I liked all of it.
9: I liked the majority of it and there were a few aspects that I really connected with or found impressive.
8: I liked most of it and there might have been one or two things that really spoke to me or caught my attention.
7: I thought it was good overall and there was one or two things that I really liked about it but also a few things I didn't really like.
6: I thought it was okay. I found a number of things that I didn't really like too much.
5: I didn't like most of it. I mainly watched these for the continuation of a story.
4: I really didn't really like any of it. I watched mostly out of some sense of obligation or because I had nothing better to do.
3: I didn't want to watch it at all or it is just awful.
2: I hope I don't find any this bad. But at least it has animation and sound.
1: It would have to be a slideshow.
No Rating: I thought for one reason or another that I didn't get a good picture of it and decided that I shouldn't rate it.
