;_; Dammit Togashi, why is your pure genius of a work known as Hunter X Hunter couldn't keep proceeding further than what it already is. 10+ years for you to work on it, and the anime just takes 3 years to catch up. *sigh*

You weren't a huge MM fan before? What brought you into Star Force?
I for one, mostly enjoyed ZX just because of how fun it is to be able to change into the different forms you will acquire. I wouldn't be too happy about ZXA though. Really great plot, but the gameplay was just...off. It's not redeeming as a fun thing for a casual gamer, I'll put it that way.

I'm a backer too, and I donated a solid amount that will get me other rewards. :D
What kinds of things did you get to talk with the devs? I really wished I'd put my backer account to use to do that, but I've been so busy lately I just don't have the motivation to really set everything up to look into the whole forum. :

HxH has been so intense since the Chimera Ant arc (it's now in the chairman reelection arc) that it should NEVER stop. But yes...his laziness is what's pushing this back. <__>

I finally got myself a PS3, but so far I'm just playing the super awesome Gundam game I have for it. And I hope that Gunvolt game is long lasting, because I'm pretty ready for it. lol

Playing games at the arcade is definitely a great experience. Interacting with the people you're playing against, in addition to the arcade controls, definitely makes it worth the damn 50 cents for each play...

Yeah Char Aznable is about as big as Darth Vader. He oozes charisma and all of the mobile suits he pilots are quite distinct. If there is a reason to watch old Gundam, it definitely would be for Char.

I lied, I'm a poser. The only nasuverse I'm familiar with is Kara no Kyoukai and the Fateverse. Oh, and little bit of Tsukihime because it was referenced in Carnival Phantasm. It certainly is better when you can relate to a work, Steins;Gate is my favourite for that reason.

Mirai Fukuin isn't that good, infact, it's disappointing. Definitely watch it, but it's nothing special.

Definitely watch Fate/Zero if you have experience with the Stay Night VN! It's an amazing adaptation and it's even better than Stay Night IMO. I do of course look forward to the new adaption in October; the old Stay Night anime is really, really bad.

Yeah there's definitely an entry barrier to fighting games I was never able to get over. I used to play Blazblue at the arcade, really fun stuff.

Yeah if you're into mecha, Gundam is pretty top tier. I got into it after playing Gundam vs Gundam and Dynasty Warriors Gundam. The best Gundam series are really old so I really think it's an acquired taste or something to nostalgiafag over, if you grew up on G Gundam or Wing.

Mighty no. 9 looks great. I suppose one of these days I will pick up the MMX series (along with the rest of my gaming backlog), but currently I'm on a huge Gundam series marathon.

Were you a fan of the ZX series? I didn't like it myself, mostly because the story and music weren't up to par with the Zero series.

i agree. i'm sure you've known someone who's lost a huge chunk to WoW... i'm sure everyone knows THAT guy.

i'd probably really like Melty Blood since i'm into nasuverse and all. i was never really big on fighting games; i really blow at every game i try in the genre. i do play a good deal of Gundam VS Gundam Extreme VS: Full Boost, but mostly just against bots and mostly because I'm a big Gundam fan.

I'm a fan of the MMZ series. MMZ3 is my favourte, I really think that game had it all when it came to story, music, and gameplay. No experience with the MMX series, but I've always wanted to try...

i'm a big fan of pick up and play games too. i used to be really big on mmos, but as you said, they are a huge time sink and most of the enjoyment does come from the escapism of the genre, so if you aren't a fan of that...
