Hello,

> The fact that full songs with a bass are being played when we see a guitarist, a singer and a drummer perform

You didn't pay close attention. During the performances in Girls Band Cry episode 3 and 5 there is a laptop computer placed next to Subaru's drum station. Momoka pre-recorded the bass guitar parts (and MIDI roll for the keyboard parts), using the laptop to play it back, with foot switches for start-stop control. She's a highly skilled, formely professional musician and was already shown using DAW software in ep 2. She even told Nina and Subaru in advance during ep3 that they'll be fine without a live bassist.

Anyhow, GBC prides itself on having the most accurate music stage reproduction ever: every cable, rack, fitting etc. which are there during a live festival were meticulously included in the animation. Take a look at the big performance in episode 11. (Other music anime omit or excessively simplify cabling and equipment.)
It’s time to ditch the text file.
