Hey, I dropped by to say thanks for your awesome website! It has to be a TONLOAD of work to keep them online. You have my utmost respect for pulling it through!

Keep up the good job! Ah, and I'm already looking forward to the Rolling Girls score! :P

I guess it's not too bad muscling through those short anime, but even I can't do that anymore. Feels really good to drop stuff just one or two episodes in! I should go OVA/special/short hunting though. More goods to pad my stats haha

Still amazed to see the ratio of time to number of completions.

Might have to use your blog as reference if I let a few songs slip past me. I know there were a few I liked from this past season with Akuma no Riddle's last ED and Sidonia no Kishi's ED.

I didn't think of Terry Pratchett at all, but I have to admit it's been ages since I read Eric. I'm more of a Witches and Watch fan. And Death and Susan, of course.
I have Dodger here to read, but I work and I have to commute a lot so it's difficult to read as much as I'd like. Especially good books, I can't afford to read too long in the evenings and on the weekend I need time to clean up and get things done. So I haven't even started yet.

I see you like Darker Than Black. I've started with it, but somehow stopped again. Can you tell me whether it's very dark and heavy? I don't have much time to watch anime either and I'm really sensitive when it comes to depressing and violent series (the reason why I stopped Psycho-Pass again).

Hello.

When you mentioned Pratchett in Hoozuki no Reitetsu - did you mean Sir Terry?

Cool, cool. That's like the opposite of how I started (and still continue to run things). I'm kind of hesitant to watch movies actually, despite them being collectively shorter than TV series in general. I think it's because I find it hard to watch anything straight past the one-hour mark. I either doze off or get distracted when the episode runtime is long.

Shugo Chara, one of the first series I remember watching, is still the longest series I watched. However, it wasn't until I tried Monster that I decided to get into long series (70+ episodes), since I won't touch any 100+ episode shounen nowdays. I also learned that many series are at least 24 episodes collectively, with the exceptional ones running in the 50-70 episode range like GitS as you mentioned.

Quantity over quantity man! I know that makes no sense gramatically, but its better to have more series under your belt than fewer, but lengthier series.

It's definitely possible to have a 1:10 ratio, but I have to wonder how your sanity will hold up...

Honestly though, I didn't think I'd ever see a list with so many OVAs, specials, and movies packed into it, considering the day-count.

I cheated a bit on my own list too, especially with all of the crappy hentai and OVA specials I subjected myself to. Anyway, my next step is 100 days, but I can look down the line and see myself watching 20,000+ episodes before I'm spent with anime.

Under 70? Over 500?

I have to salute that!
