Agree totally. It's just so unexpected when one starts reading it that one will find the characters so endearing. I have a soft spot for Noi and Shin and I love the weird friendship/romance between Nikaido and Kaiman. And that ability to go from dreadful gore to zany humour in the same page is peerless.
