But without the older version, the new one doesn't make sense. It's not Satoko's fault, it's someone else who caused the problems. And in order not to spoil it, I won't tell you who. And already when you started watching Gou, continue with Sotsu because the story definitely doesn't end there in Gou.
It's really not an apples to apples comparison between an erotic comedy that I personally didn't find erotic or funny and a claymation short that's supposed to just be goofy. Domestic Girlfriend had a lot more effort put into it, but for me it fell way below my expectations. Especially since my friend liked it and told me it was great. Meanwhile, I never had any expectations for Chainsaw Bunny.
My ratings are never going to be perfectly consistent. I have some factors that I look at, but some factors could impact my score such as my mood, who I watched something with, when I first watched it, etc. I wouldn't bother focusing too hard on ratings. Especially someone else's because we all have different criteria.
I would consider a rating difference of 7-9 to be a huge disagreement. Of the 106 shows we share in common, the only 2 where we REALLY disagree are Nichijou and Prison School. That's not too surprising because comedy is easily the most subjective of all the genres. You aren't looking at animation quality or music or visual directing. It all depends on if you laugh and if you don't laugh then you probably won't enjoy it. There are comedies that I love that most people just think are really dumb. Cromartie High School is a DUMB show. It's poorly animated. The characters don't grow. It's about a school of juvenile delinquents with classmates including a gorilla, a poorly made robot, and Freddie Mercury, who is still alive and hiding in Japan for reasons that are never explained. I think it's hilarious though, so I gave it a high rating.

Thanks for the recommendations.
Why didn't you watch Higurashi no naku koro ni and Kai? And you only watched Gou.
