Fairy Tail if it was realistic

In truth, what brought me towards reading Mato Seihei no slave was their attire design. There are times I would consume media simply just to see what the series would reveal in their character designs. A unique trait of mine, perhaps even strange for the average anime enthusiast. Though while I would be enticed by the designs, at times I would stay for the story. Mato Seihei no slave would be one, Code Geass would be another for reference, though I’m aware how acclaimed Code Geass is as a series.

I do enjoy Mato Seihei no slave as it’s quite lighthearted and easy to consume. Tenka would be my favorite as well for similar reasons, although I like both Kyouka and Fubuki by design. I haven’t watched the anime adaptation yet though that’s unfortunate to hear. But at least you have Fairy Tail back! I’m happy for you. Are you also a fan of Edens Zero? Perhaps in time I’ll watch FT as well

Excited for Monogatari’s return? I’m quite jubilant! I even planned a dedicated day just to simply binge it. I’m curious what they will show compared to the LNs. It’s been quite some time since I read them so I might just reread them to refresh my memory. As for the others I plan to watch: Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2, and Megami no Café Terrace 2nd Season.

The reason I fancy Fuufu Ijou was due to my relatability to it. I've experienced a similar story play out in my life. It may not be the best story but that’s the reason it’s on my favorites (Kore wa Zombie desu ka? is for a nostalgic reason). If you want something of a similar feel you can try Ane no Tomodachi/The Cutest Girl Closest to Me. For a longer story: Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku/The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity Though I mostly have been consuming korean comics.

As for anime, I would have said Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru But it seems you have already watched it. So then Yubisaki to Renren/A Sign of Affection

While I won’t deny the displeasures of my actions, I’ll reply the best I can, when I can, regardless of time. As long as the conversation does not wither away due to the disinterest of the people involved or the shortness of the messages, though you don’t have this issue. My issue, however, is that I try to match or put effort into my messages. A show for those who view it. And when more people are interested and join, it becomes exhausting, overwhelming even. This was due to my own accords and thus you can rightfully call out my hypocrisy. Regardless, I do admire your efforts and kind nature to uphold our conversations. A beautiful nature that can be wasted on me, I’m afraid….




What would I describe Ren as?... Hmm… Peremptory. By definition, peremptory is expecting to be obeyed immediately. This describes Ren’s superior and at times, arrogant personality while highlighting her curious nature; whether this is to strive for greatness or possessiveness; a possession over knowledge, power, goals (stated through her desire to defend her homeland), or in Yuuki’s case, people.

Similar to Makima, Ren has a sense of pleasure in control and thus she likes to “train” or “discipline”. This can be seen with her interactions with Yuuki or in the more recent chapters, something that Makima has as well, in well, “underlings” in order to not spoil it for you, should it be that you haven’t read it yet.

Though when using peremptory, it can be used as a double entendre as this can be reversed. Just as Ren has expectations for immediate obedience in other things, she can have it in herself- a self expectation to uphold the duties, values, and opinions of others. Often termed as “good girl syndrome”, she has a desire to strive forth in order to appease others, or simply someone that is significant to her. And thus she could confuse or finally understand herself and her devotion towards expectation. Anything, everything, just to get praised, or in Ren’s erotic case, rewarded. In expectation there’s obedience to get rewarded and in obedience there’s an expectation to strive for such rewards.



Now whether I have this side to me, well… I can be submissive and agreeable, especially so in my family as I play my role well as a daughter. Though I have many roles, and can cater to many tastes. Switching up roles, oh what I wouldn’t do for those I cherish. In any position, there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do. Now if there was someone who thinks Ren is cute and would like to see the Ren side of me, then like Ren, you’ll have to tame me first, if you can…

Thanks for reaching out and for the kind words. I'm glad you found my prediction on Fairy Tail's return to be on point. Yasuharu Takanashi's tweet definitely added some weight to the speculation.

As for whether J.C. Staff will do Fairy Tail justice, I think there's definitely reason to be optimistic. Many of the folks in the leadership team have been involved with Fairy Tail before, so I think they'll adapt it just like they did back then. Plus, with a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaiting the return of Fairy Tail, I'm sure they'll put their best foot forward to deliver a satisfying experience.

Let's hope for the best and anticipate a fantastic return of Fairy Tail.
