I've currently been taking a break from the heavy reading material and just reading the Wheel of Time novels. As for anime, I'm currently watching Bakemonogatari and random old OVAs. I'm doing pretty well, but I'm working 40-45 hours a week as a pharmacy tech, so I've had a lot less free time in the last year.
Hi! Psychological anime is a very interesting thing. I don't know whether it has been suggested or not, but you should try Monster. This anime has a well written plot and good characters.
also like your profile pic. Speaking of which, I actually revised my Elfen Lied review today. I figured I might get above 30% approval if I write slightly better. Then again, a LOT of people hate Elfen Lied on this site for some reason. This site and 4chan's /a/ , of course they are probably mostly the same people.
It is a painting called Ivan Tsarevich Rides the Grey Wolf by the fantasy realist painter Victor Vasnetsov. It is located in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. I saw it when I was on vacation in Russia and was very struck by Vasnetsov's work. Before I went, I had no idea that Russia even had great painters.
I liked your Elfen Lied review. It always gets so much hate on this site. I figure we fans need to stick together! I find its alleged popularity to be quite strange, because it really isn't that popular where I'm from. Here in the Southern US, the only popular anime outside the big names like Bleach, Naruto, Pokemon, and DBZ, are Ouran High school and Hetalia. There simply aren't many Elfen Lied fans here. It seems online that the vast majority of Elfen Lied's fandom lives in Latin America or Europe. What country are you from?
