So far I have to agree with you. I didn't fine a lot of series after 2007 that really appealed to me. I added a bunch to my to watch list but I am drawn to the older series most of the time. Started watching Ergo Proxy recently and so far I'm not dissapointed. Was looking at Yuasa's work and I recognise a few titles, Ping Pong and Space Dandy.

Sadly I don't read manga, barely gor enough time to watch an anime as it is. But still thanks for the advice.

Legend of Galactic Heroes look amazing. Style kinda reminds me of Robotech, watched that as a kid. But 100+ episodes.... pfff that is a lot.

No, not in particular, im mostly honest when people ask me things, I'm just not the person type to initiate conversations though I might sound a bit hypocritical here xD Let's just say internet is just a place I find interesting and I meet ppl I have the same interests while compared to people I know irl don't. And maybe the fact that people tend less to judge you for who you are here also plays a factor since they cant see your appearence, cant read your body language, your voice tone or anything else that could give out information for the person, while irl people tend to make assumptions about a person beforehand and stick with it, apply stereotypes. And I'd have to disagree since I don't like comunicating with loads of people, I prefer meaningful and interesting conversation with one person than rather with a crowd. I prefer having inside jokes than making a good impression to some people, I'd rather be dorky and weird with ppl I actually like, if you are introvert it doesn't mean you dont like socialising, it may mean that you prefer a smaller circle of individuals to talk and less frequently. I think you shouldn't make any assumptions on me based on a few sentences I wrote. You could say it does give me more freedom yet I don't feel too comfortable on internet, there's no privacy and everyone can read it. I guess it is just easier to get heard. And honestly I used to do psychology as a subject but it was so boring, not because I didnt like the material, you could say the way it was presented was just dull. What made you choose psychology though? Do you truly think you can get into everyone's mind because you know some theories? xD People are way more complex and biased than you might think, but what do I know I didnt major in psychology ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I was joking with the psycho thing haha I honestly don't think I have a specific reason to like weird stuff, maybe the reactions of weirded out people I watch stuff with makes me laugh, who knows? I don't. xD I honestly don't think it goes that deep, I never had any traumas or anything, I don't feel the need to be special, I'm a bit a nihilist when it comes to this. Not everything makes sense in my opinion. Humans are impulse driven beings, they don't really think while choosing what to watch, you could go and talk about the 'alter ego' stuff but I honestly dont believe it. I might like one thing and hate the other, only because I was in mood for that, yet the other day I might detest it with everything I got. I'm biased, hypocrite and just ... human :D I don't try to pretend someone I am not, at least I hope I do.
