Vero? Ho finito ZZ pochi giorni fa.
i really don't see him being a good choice for trunks at all. he could pull off maybe the other 2 decently, but i'm too attached to my idea of him as kakarot's obsessed rival too much to think of him as anyone else in that franchise. besides, his voice totally has that gruffness in it once you listen real closely. although i imagine you'd naturally get to hear it more clearly if you were to here him in some other animes he was that you've never watched. this is what his voice is like after 2 decades the english dub has aired: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cLkiODL_PY he has gotten more of the pronounced rasp to it more than even back then, not gonna act like if it because he ever smoked at all.
it's not that i have anger at the fact that 2002 is the most popular entry in the whole franchise in mexico itself, it's just that i have no idea how come none of the other ones in that have anywhere near the same amount of fame and love that the vanilla edition of 02 gets to even the nearest extants. nothing against anyone who has defense for that game because there are some cool tracks in it admittedly unlike it's terrible predecessor even then, but i don't find that game to be all that fun compared to the other ones myself and i was beyond highly thankful it's remake, unlimited match, was launched to improve on much of it's shortcommings. i'll admit that i'm bloody saddened the game itself doesn't have an arranged rendition because it would have made them far better executed, but it can only happen in some other universe where it actually recieved it. rugal's theme, last dance, is definitely a sweet track that made me desperately yearn for some sort of what if scenerio where it has gotten an arranged option so the track (and the rest of the game's ost especially) would have gotten more needed polish to it.
1. you're not familiar with his voice and he'd admittedly not suit the role given more years to have his voice getting pretty aged by now, but can you regardless see Robert Buchholz pulling off vegeta? he's the one man i'd have loved to have catched the part if z were to be dubbed around 1995 or 1998 alternatively whatever circumstances will bound to stand down. don't think it will be much showcase for you to get a proper hearing of his voice, but here's a video of the anime where he played the main man of the cast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVBd7DCEqFU
2. roberta is truly a vile ass girlchad with such robust might of sensational massacare, you'd never know just how dangerous she'd be when you attach yourself beyond her silent demeanor that when she let's it fly, mercy won't save the ones who are targeting towards her. the beatdown she brought on that man is seriously beautiful especially with gruesome slaughter she relished in so she killed skull-nuke him all the way to hell. let me refresh your memory on that: https://kissanime.com.ru/Anime/black-lagoon-roberta-s-blood-trail-dub.70732/Episode-027?id=47959 skip to 28:50 btw
3. "tears" was always that one track which always stayed with me no matter the difficults I've had throughout, and the defining reason for that isn't because of the renditions of either 99 or 02, (the latter game stunk terribly anyway, (unpopular opinions be however they want) sad that this entry had recieved the most popularity among latinos given that there are way better games in there than that which should have taken the top spot for the franchise instead. the soundtrack it has is also unapologatically wack which is a misfortune for a franchise that deserves far better than that) the version that gave my love for it is actually from something that isn't from official mainline games.... and wouldn't you knew it's from this video ? it's just perfection upon cherry on the top. can you feel just how calming it is like i do?
Iori has likely remained one of the fighters I've took my time to enjoy playing with the most for a long-while, mainly because that with how much I've tried to master combos around him with a certain move called Kuzukaze will only take some real skill at having the legit speed to not make the combos fall off for an utter stale hole. Clark Still, Maxima, Blue Mary, Joe Higashi, Vanessa and K' (it's coincidential that he's the character in your pfp since he's a fav of yours) are also another picks at the top of my head that I had loads of joy to tackle with for a while as wel out of anyone. but yeah, King Of Fighters has been a part of my childhood gaming-wise that I've realized what makes Video games fun sometimes.
2. I don't know if you're familiar with the Gregory Snegoff's work, but do you think there are some characters he'd kill it as? (here's an interview where you can hear what he sounds like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCBTP3XCBWI) I've always thought he'd be a great pick for either Piccolo or Cell. how's that recommendation?
3. 0079 had many great female characters to it, didn't it? Fraw Bow, Sayla Mass, Mirai Yashima, Crowley Hamon, Kycilia Zabi, and even Miharu Ratokie all kick so much butt with how much I can easilly sympathize with them (except for Kycilia because she isn't meant to be, but the point still stands) and prove the contrary that any female characters written by Yoshiyuki Tomino is garbage. don't you think so?
4. opinion on the late Hirotaka Suzuoki?
5. Texhnolyze's soundtrack is one of the many reasons it's one of my only 10/10 animes, I just love all of it myself and I can't gush about it's second ending theme "Walking through to empty age" enough. hear it for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKNv8QKLJeE your opinion?
7. Clone Zero's 2002 UM theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zpv3K49I7ow) goes hard beyond belief, jesus the guys had such electric guitars to make it awesome. didn't they?
8. opinion on Mark Hildreth?
9. Mark Gatha has recently asked to have a an interview about G Gundam in honor of it's 30th anniversary, he played the lead character Domon Kasshu in it before retiring from voice acting to become a doctor. he's also asked on how he's work as Mega Man X takes a part in that interview as well, so that even more raised my interest in it more than I thought. (link to the video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTxsrKEujA4&t=3356s if you want to get the subject: skip to 51:22)
10. where did you review Gundam Wing? because I'd like to spend time seeing everything you've said about it in your review of it.
2. I've no idea if I'm in the minority in this situation, but I really love Maverick Hunter X. it's plenty fun and is one of those remakes that I think actually equalls it's original game that it's based on. it's soundtrack gives me chills too, particularly the Zero's Sacrafice bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-4dQU6lAfE (in a way I actually even prefer it to variable X in all honesty) and Vile's ending theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4kxb4ga8fo&t=137s) as well. I swear to you that I never stop feeling for him because of this track alone, it really makes you feel it to your heart. what's your opinion on it?
3. do you feel that Yusuke Honma (the man who produced the soundtracks for both Yu Yu Hakusho and Great Teacher Onizuka) definitely deserves to make a comeback to provide musical scores for more shows? I'd like him to do it because the soundtracks he made for both aformentioned shows are genuinely great. (this one is definitely one of my top favorites of his: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYWfxoqSpyg&pp=ygUheXUgeXUgaGFrdXNobyBzdHJ1Z2dsZSBvZiBzYWRuZXNz)
4. Lucas Gilbertson's work as Zero is absolutely perfect. it sucked that he retired and there won't be any choice for him to return, do you find him irreplacable in the part? because I do myself.
5. this kind of thing was never discussed about in any platform to mind, so I'll ask you this thing: am I ALONE who thinks there are a myriad of adult anime characters who do look about cinnamon roll-tier preciously cute? like I have no idea if I'm going deaf, but there are a ton of them that exists in many popular stuff but don't get talked about how sweet they can look when it counts. like let me leave these characters to you and tell me yourself if you think if they fit that cuteness factor. characters include:
7. if Ryo Horikawa would were to be replaced as Vegeta, which Japanese VA would you like to be him?
8. remember Namco x capcom? no idea if you've at least watched a longplay of it to get a decent grasp of how you feel wheter you like it or not, (I still love it even now) I also like to note on how insanely soulful and nostalgically pumping it's theme song is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtGmFFbc2-k (especially at 1:39 - 1:55) how is it to you in your memory anyways?
9. Dark Cat is one of the lousiest anime I've witnessed in my whole life, with one of the shittiest English Dubs to ever exist in general revolving around actors who never voiced anyone in their whole lives and it shows they didn't have any acting leasons at all. The Original voice cast is boosted with phenomenal talents who are much better actors than the ones from the english dub of it, but the problem is they were horribly directed. see for yourself who were there: https://myanimelist.net/anime/4531/Dark_Cat/characters it's sad isn't it
getting to Fist Of The North Star, the series itself has never had me thinking it's popularity is a thing only because of the memes and not because of it's complexity and the phenomenal characters that makes many things about it tick for the right reasons. what can we do about it tho? this is just what it is, we can't change it no matter what it will amount to. but then again, I love it all the same for how much it makes you root for Kenshiro himself and let him relate to him more and more as soon as what he's aiming for.
yes the art is my favorite at the moment! especially since we get that high quality every single week. also suzuki (the author) graduated from art school and is a huge movie buff, so his action scenes are very fluid
thank you! haha i can see why you'd say that, the glasses and the gun. it's from sakamoto days. you should read it, you seem to like badass characters so i think you'd like it because it has a lot of those
EoSD is probably my favorite touhou game lol, it was the first i played! took me forever to beat it as a newbie tho. my first exposure to it was about 10 years ago with "bad apple". what abt you?
I do really like Victory! I see why some people might not like it due to the weird beginning but I think it has one of the best endings out of any of the UC series I've seen besides 0079.
I saw your profile because I just saw The Ideon: Be Invoked an read your review of it and thought it was really insightful.
