I started watching anime soon after graduating high school, and haven't stopped since. I also regularly enjoy reading (generally fantasy) and playing games (platformers and long winded RPG's).
So sorry about this, but it's really bugging me how many typos you have in the first couple sentence of your Wolf's Rain review.
Here: "Wolf's Rain was, to say the least, *an* interesting*(comma not necessary here)* but not *overly-involved* anime. Although I liked the concept, setting, sound*,* and art direction, I could not find myself getting *attached* to the characters or involved in the plot.
So yeah, I realize it's a old review. But just thought you might want to know!
Elfen Lied is one of my favourite anime. Although it has some flaws I really love it, especially the ending which left me broken hearted T_T.
P.S: I read you review and I totally agree :P
I just read your Wolf's Rain review. I have to agree with you. I think this series is over-rated badly. I. too, watched it dubbed. I still have a copy of it and will re-watch subtitled someday to see if that helps this story along. Unlike you, I found most of the dub to be of low quality. The art and music were OK. This anime was rushed at the end because of budget problems at that time. So, the rushed feeling is a result of that. Also, if you watched it dubbed, those 4 or 5 review episodes were a major joke! All in all, your rating of 4 is about right. Thanks for the review.
