The first of their movies that I saw was Laputa Castle in the Sky and then I tracked down some of their others but I never saw Princess Mononoke I might just have to now.
I also really like the Ghibli movies that I have seen, I probably like Spirited Away most.
Which is your Favorite?
If the synopsis sounds interesting to you then I would recommend it, I am finding it very charming and the animation is amazing for a series, it is like something out of a Ghibli movie.
Bad CG is enough to ruin anything, unless it is late 80s to mid to late 90s bad CG, some of that is so bad it doubles back and becomes hilarious.
I have just been watching Made in Abyss and finished Durarara!! lat night, have you seen either of those?
I think Death Note is really clever the way it is done and I am anxiously awaiting the conclusion, we watched a few more eps yesterday and we have 7 episodes left to go.
I have another friend that likes anime but he will watch things out of order and it doesn't bother him so he usually just watches whatever I watch when he is around.
I don't know much about it but I heard a lot of people aren't a big fan of the new anime adaptation, is is not faithfull to the source or just poorly done?
I will look into it for sure. :)
I see that Death Note is in your favorites list, I just finished watching the episode where L died and am anxious to see what will happen next, but I have to wait for my mate to come over as we are watching it together.
He doesn't normally watch anime but he is liking it so I don't wanna jump ahead, that way we can talk about it as it unfolds.
How Is Berserk? It has been recommended to me but I haven't started it yet.

Introduction:
Hello there, friend!
We at the Australian & New Zealand Anime Club are proud to present... Our very first newsletter!
This community was founded on the 28th of January - 2015, and since that time we've come a very long way.
You are only reading this because YOU made it possible by being a very important piece of what makes this club what it is.
That said, we are happy to announce that we're coming close to reaching the 1,000 Member Milestone!
It's a wonderful thing to know that there are so many fellow Aussies and Kiwis who love Anime and we hope that we only continue to grow from here on out.
About the newsletter:
So you might ask, what's this newsletter all about?
Well, great question. We've scratched our heads a few times and figured that this newsletter will be dedicated to letting you know that we're active!
Despite the substantial growth of our club, there is still a handful of you that we still haven't had the pleasure of getting to know.
We want you to understand that this is a safe and fun club, but if you're shy then we're not going to force you to participate, this is simply to remind you that there is a place for everyone at this club, so if you ever warm up - come and say hi!
Here's what's happening right now:
We have a wide selection of club activities that you can participate in, from anime discussion to club games or casual conversation.
Anyone in the club is free to make up whatever thread they feel would interest people!
What we hopefully have planned for the future:
GFX Competitions, Giveaways, Club Member of the Month, Gaming Groups and more!
So, other than that, there isn't much to say this time around but hopefully the next time we have to do this, there is much more to look forward to.
We again are thankful to have you, and hope that you come and have some fun with us sometime soon.
- Yours truly,
The Australian & New Zealand Anime Club.
