I quite literally just watched the movie in the cinema several hours ago, in the case of Neia... She's just as adorable and as lovable as I hoped she'd be 😭

Thanks! Since I read the Sacred Kingdom Arc, Neia has quickly become one of my favourite characters in Overlord and certainly the best in the arc!

I haven't gotten around to watching the Sacred Kingdom movie yet, but I hope she's as good as she is in the LN.

Of course, I'll admit some of the shows mentioned are comfort shows for me, Bocchi, Lucky Star, and Yuru Yuri specifically. The characters in these three shows make it for me. I wouldn't say they are the best shows ever made, but I really enjoy them. ^_^

The Monogatari series is one of my favorites for other reasons though. A big part of it is the seiyuu work, and the entire series has a lot of my favorite seiyuus. The soundtracks throughout the years have been staples for me. I've come to love Studio Shaft's style of animation as well. I could ramble about Monogatari for a while, but I can understand not getting hooked on it.

Lain is a bit more personal for me, and I won't go into crazy detail, but it is kind of right up my alley in terms of avant-garde anime. I don't watch a ton of the genre but I did come to love Lain. The aesthetic carries a bit for me too.

Yeah, my main hook is usually the music and the voices. Pretty much every anime in my favorites has some sort of audio attachment for me. I'm pretty character oriented too when I watch. All of my favorites have at least 1 character I really enjoy.

Don't cry...

Happy to see another Musaigen fan! It was a really fun watch for me a few years ago. Funny enough one of my girl friends recommended it to me even though it was pretty ecchi heavy and I had no idea going into. Was pleasantly surprised! LOL
I was pretty sad too when I realized that the 13 episode season was all we were gonna get. Unfortunate, but for what we got it was a fun ride and I'm happy that I caught it.

The Chobits call out is appreciated too! I just started watching it last week off a recommendation from another friend. I've been enjoying it a lot! I'm worried that I'm gonna get my heart absolutely shattered by the end of it, but I'm riding the high of how funny and entertaining it is now. It's definitely right up my alley so I'm quickly falling in love with the show.

You know that feeling when you reach the end of a currently publishing manga. Its that feeling that sucks also it definitely cuts off right when its getting really good but if your hankering for more xxxHOLIC content then I'd say go for it. Its quite fun seeing how the grown up version of the characters now deal with problems and the stories that aren't the overarching one are fantastic. If it ever does get an announcement for continuation you'll be able to get hype 'trust me' XD.

The S2 has a special place in my heart. It kind of helped me rediscover anime when I watched it for the first time and I loved many aspects of the series. On the other hand, I don't have a sophisticated rating system. I've been using MAL just to track my favorite shows and haven't been updating it too much lately.
