A quiet highschooler from down under; I spend most of my waking hours playing video games, watching anime, reading novels and manga, listening to music, going to school or working.
I tend to go through crazes for certain series for elongated periods and during those times I'm constantly ranting to people about it, listening to its music and posting pictures of it everywhere. Some notable intervals I've had would be my Clannad, Toradora!, Kokoro Connect, Little Busters! and Ano Natsu de Matteru crazes. The only exception to this rule would be The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, in which I'm always obsessed with.
I usually focus on watching things I know I'd really like, it's why the majority of titles on my lists are high rated; I'm quite picky. I also tend to watch series over and over again. I think I've watched The Disapperance of Haruhi Suzumiya 8 times so far?
But that doesn't sway me from trying out new series! I do that all the time, and I'm usually searching up series I find interesting or considering watching so if you think there's a series you'd think I'd like please, do not hesitate to let me know!
I'm also happy to talk to anyone, so if you have any questions about anything or simply just want to talk I'm all ears. I'm really excited to make friends in this community.
Anime
I don't really enjoy Action, Psychological or Mecha anime that much, but there are some exceptions. My most favoured genres are;
Slice of Life, Romance, Mystery and Comedy. Not necessarily in that order.
Video Games
I enjoy almost all genres of video games. The most notable ones are...
Role Playing Game, Fighting, Racing, Visual Novel. Also not necessarily in that order.
Music
Nostalgia is almost like a drug to me, I run on it; it's my steam. Like I mentioned further up in this panel, I go into phases and I usually do lots of things in relation to the series in which I'm obssessed with. By this logic, I only really ever listen to Video Game and Anime Original Soundtracks because I enjoy reminiscing over the experiences I was able to enjoy while playing/watching the series. I'll post my current top 10 most played songs in my iTunes for now; (February 2013)
1. Little Busters! ~TV Animation Version~ - Little Busters!
2. Time To Make History - Persona 4 Golden
3. sign - Ano Natsu de Matteru
4. Rival Battle: Shadow the Hedgehog "For True Story" - Sonic Generations
5. Stage 00: Sea Gate - Sonic Heroes
6. Reach Out To The Truth -in Mayonaka Arena- - Persona 4 Arena
7. Hare Hare Yukai ~ Ver. Kimidori Emiri - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

[1] - Horrible, absolutely pathetic and not even worth the effort to stream, download or even rent. Don't waste any of your valuable anime time on these. These anime usually fail in all five major categories of sound, story, art, character and overall enjoyment. There is yet to be an anime I have scored 1.
[2] - Very similar to a 1 score however the anime might particularly be better in one category but fail in the rest. There is yet to be an anime I have scored 2.
[3] - These kinds of anime usually have their ups but their downs weigh them down incredibly. I find myself watching these wondering why I even started in the first place.
[4] - A huge letdown. These anime are slightly less than mediocre in usually a high amount of categories and generally lack the degree of enjoyment I require in order to continue watching. There is yet to be an anime I have scored 4.
[5] - These anime are generally spot on mediocre and generic. Everything is of a boring and inconspicuous level and nothing particularly stands out and grabs my attention. Usually my interest is lost pretty quickly.
[6] - I watch these kinds of anime and usually hold an obligation or slight interest of some sort that keeps me watching. The thing is, at this level boredom is a huge problem and usually you need something to keep you going. Hence my obligations and needful interests.
[7] - Due to my heavily bias and one-sided way of picking anime to watch, most shows fall into this rating. This is the level in which I enjoyed the anime but not to the extent to have it take a spot in my treasured favorites. These anime didn't particularly effect me to the extent of ones of higher ratings but were still very good.
[8] - An anime that grabbed my attention quickly and usually held it right through to the end, these shows are worth your time despite their flaws here and there. Generally, these anime lacked a lot of things to make me enjoy it enough. A lot of OVAs and additional seasons fall into this category. That is usually because comparison becomes a high factor.
[9] - Those big anime that hit me right in the face and said "Hey, love me!" are smack bang right in this rating. Exceeding in almost every category, these anime are of an incredibly high standard and should be treated as such. Watch them and enjoy them.
[10] - The absolutely perfection that got me hooked on anime in the first place. Perfect in all five categories, anime like this might have a small amount of flaws but the perfect combination of all the anime had to offer gave me an experience like nothing else ever did. These anime are the ones I will never forget as long as I live.
Oh, I see. That's great :). Hmmm....quite a few. There should be more people who like anime in my class but I don't communicate with them cause they're not my friends.
I wish you luck to be with your friends. Hmm... I pretty much managed to catch up with my friends. Though I'm more towards staying at home. I chatted with them on the phone and came online to watch anime together. I see. My break ended already.
Haha yeah, but the concentration doesn't last long. Haha, true. But with the computer, I would just get more distracted..Yup, it was rather okay. Yup, my friends are still with me.
Yup, my teacher said study groups are better. Tried and failed cause my friends and I just got carried away talking about anime...In the end, work that was supposed to be done, cannot even be accomplished much :'(
I dread studying!! I tried studying but I always get distracted cause I actually had no intention of wanting to study at all. I was only studying cause I know if I don't even read something, I'm gonna fail really terribly ><. Yeah, it's hard to focus. I wanna have more fun!
Oh, Okay. I will watch Kanon(2006) if I want to watch a touching show.
Hmm...it's fine IMO. Not really that good but also not bad.. It's always worth a shot to see of you like it or not.
Oh, heard of that. I remember I was debating on whether to watch Shakugan no Shana, Seitokai no Ichizon or Setokai Yukiundomo. I ended up choosing Shakugan no Shana cause I wanted some action.
Haha..it's a good thing you're good in maths even though you hate it anyway ^^
Yeah, Clannad is too touching ;_;
I see. Angel Beats is more of action. But it's like Clannad. Funny but also a tear-jerker.
Oh, is that so? Another closest one that I've watched is about an anime where some boys cross-dressing as girls in a all boys school. You can search it up if you want to. It's called Princess Princess.
Wow, I wonder how you can do maths so well even though you hate it O.o
Haha, it's okay ^^ I'm doing homework right now so it feels normal talking about school...
Hmm....the first few series that comes to my mind are...Clannad, Angel Beats, Kaichou wa maid sama..
I see. My subjects are mostly not helpful for me when I choose my future courses. As for what I'm thinking of doing, I'm not really sure. I think I will decide when I find out what courses I qualify for with my score. For all I know now, I'm not gonna take any subjects that requires me to be good in maths. Maths has been my arch enemy ever since young. How about you?

How about you?
Same here, studying all the time will kill me .
Yeah, school is boring with nothing really much to look forward to. My final term ended at the end of the last year. I'm in a new grade now.
^^
Yeah, I wonder if there is anyone in the world who actually watched all anime O.o
Pretty normal.
