The first half of this season is a 6/10, it was fine, and watchable, but barely. It felt like there wasn't much of a plot except for the sister thing and it was just such a basic plot that I wasn't too interested in it, and it felt like every time something needed to be taken seriously it just wasn't, but the comedy was pretty good and got a few laughs out of me. The second half of the season was a 7 or 8/10, and I feel like if this was the tone of the whole series, it easily could have been 8 or
...
9/10 for me. I like how there were moments of seriousness like Senshi's backstory, but I still liked how comedy was a major point. I loved how the black magic used to revive Falin was the start of this more serious half, and it made things a lot more interesting, bringing in black magic, the elf, the lost kingdom and its inhabitants as well as finally bringing together all the groups of people in the story. It was way more interesting and engaging, while in the first half I went on and off. Overall the anime was pretty good, the art style is really good, the comedy is funny, and the whole point of creating monster food is consistent and they never really stop doing that. My favorite thing however has to be the characters, all of them being written so well and all are so loveable.

Warning: This review has spoilers about future chapters that have not been adapted yet.
The vibes this anime gives off is like The last of us x Maze runners x the promised neverland, and it's amazing. The art style is beautiful and really sells the apocalypse vibe that other anime can't, and it's worldbuilding also feels really good. The strongest part of the anime has to be it's characters, and how each and every one of them are so interesting. My favorite have to be Kiriko/Haruki and Maru, and their dynamic is just great together. I don't like the parts at the Takahara school as much,
...
but I still enjoyed the mystery element to it, as well as some of the characters like Shiro and Mimihime. The story makes you believe that the events are happening at the same time, but by the ending scene of the last episode, it's safe to say that the school part was in the past. Another thing this anime does so well are the mysteries. What are the hiruko, what is the school, why does Maru have to be there, what is the bird symbol, where did Robin go, where did the doctor go, Is Haruki really Haruki or is it trauma from Kiriko, why does Maru have that power, why is Robin bad, why is Haruki in Kiriko's body, etc etc. Sadly, I think I was spoiled for some of these mysteries by looking up Dr. Asami, as for a second I forgot who he was (because my memory sucks) and so when I did search him up, it revealed something huge that I was not supposed to know until the future, but I hope I can forget that by the time the second season comes out. Because of this, I also feel like I know who the child of Tokio is, and why it may be Maru and why he has his powers. I'm not letting the spoilers affect my rating at all, and if this turns out to be true, I think that might make the next season a 10/10 for me if they get everything right. The one thing I didn't really like was 1. some of the school parts, cuz it got boring sometimes, but what I really didn't like was the ending, which felt like it was building up to some huge reveal, but ended very casually. I also feel like there is still something missing to make this a true 10/10, but it is a very strong candidate, so this is really a 9.5/10. Let's hope I can forget the spoilers by the time season 2 comes out.

Thought this was going to be some run of the mill 5/10 anime when I first saw it on MAL, but I saw clips floating around on Youtube, and the clips were funny enough that I wanted to give this show a shot. My first impressions were of how beautiful the art style and animation was, and it looked like almost a movie style budget with how good it looked, but I think that's just because of A-1. In the beginning, the plot was really good, and explored the ideas of heartbreak and realistic depictions of it and how people cope and deal with heartbreak.
...
I didn't expect the show to really go through these realistic talks and expected more gags and shitty humor. The problem is, half way through the show, that's exactly what the show becomes. As it veers off its main point, and just starts feeling like your everyday slice of life school romance. I feel like the author should have gone with the 100 girlfriends approach of introducing more rejected heroines instead of keeping the same three, as I feel like they all get sidelined at one point or another to focus on something else. Another glaring issue was with Komari's story, where she was having trouble with the fact her senpais were graduating, and has to also deal with the fact she's the president of the literature club that she loves so much. The thing is, when Nukumizu starts to tell his feelings about how she isn't alone, I kind of expected him to get serious and get it all out, except the author fucks it up by having one of the other girls barge in and interrupt it, which I would expect in normal rom coms, but I think it just makes it so much worse in a series like this, which has shown that it takes its points and talks very seriously. Another thing is that for some reason the role of president of the club gets passed on to Nukumizu, which I thought went against what Komari wanted and thought was very stupid. Finally, the worst thing that could happen to this series: romance. This series was supposed to be getting over heartbreak, and it was also about Nukumizu making friends from these girls and not looking to date any of them, but judging from the final episode, it seems like the romance route is where the story is headed, which is a shame because I thought that this would be one of those stories where the MC didn't need to end up with one of the girls, and they could just remain friends, similar to Ichigo and Rukia in Bleach. Alas, I fear that Nukumizu will get together with Yanami and that this will just become another boring slice of life rom com, but the first half of this season did well enough that it earned itself higher than average, alongside the amazing animation and voice acting.

Unpopular opinion I know, but this show just kinda sucks. Would have given it a 1 if not for the opening and Kaji. It's boring until like episode 16 and even still its kinda boring but at least something is going on. Then it just becomes so fucking confusing that its hard to keep up with. Like Shinji tries leaving 2 - 3 times and keeps coming back like holy shit dude make up your goddamn mind. Asuka is just fucking annoying, and Rei is a nothing ass character. Shinji is also annoying, I didn't come to watch Daddy Issues: The Anime. Then the last
...
two episodes were just an acid trip. Also fuck anyone that says the elevator scene had to be that long, it really fucking didn't. Yeah I get there is tension and its awkward but making us sit through ages of that one scene doesn't help me get it because I already know. The fans of this shit are the rick and morty fans of anime. I asked my friends about the anime and what any of this shit meant, and they said "You're just dumb its so obvious, their mothers are baked into the fucking robots and the last two episodes was to force evolution in humans!" They later admitted that they were full of shit and the show is in fact a hot mess and that none of that was obvious. Fuck this show man.

This is just Death Note mixed with the plot Final Fantasy 7. And its really good. The only few problems I have with it is that Suzaku and Nina are the two most goddamn annoying characters to exist (Suzaku is literally defending segregation and Nina is just racist and yet the plot wants us to like both), the art is strange, and the whole thing with Euphey is kinda bs, like:
"Hey wouldn't it be funny if you killed every Japanese person?"
"Oh yeah that would be crazy"
"Oh shit my geass is permenantly on what happe- oh fuck"
AND EVEN AFTER THIS HAPPENS AND EVEN WHEN PEOPLE DON'T
...
KNOW SHE WAS UNDER THE CONTROL OF GEASS THE STUDENTS STILL ARE AGAINST ZERO LIKE WTF YOU DIDN'T CARE ALL THE ELEVENS GOT MASSACRED? SAME THING WITH SUZAKU, WHO BEING PRESENTED WITH THIS INFORMATION STILL CHOSE TO SAVE HER (Even know he was told later she was under control, but wtf dude).

This anime broke my brain, it's so stupid that it loops right back around to being good. It's the misfit of demon king academy done right and not dogshit. It made being an OP character who doesn't lose any battles somewhat entertaining, and it blends together comedy really well. Only thing is it throws in subplots that don't get developed or built on and that go kinda unanswered. It feels like shit happens randomly. Somehow that makes this anime work and not work. I was really considering giving this an 8 but for some reason my body and mind physically refuse to do so. Maybe
...
the idea of an isekai with an OP protag is what is stopping me, as I've seen so many. This anime is so overly edgy but its actually somewhat cool and not cringe. I don't know how they did it. This anime is a paradox and everything contradicts itself, but it all works.

A lot of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was ruined for me by the JJK fans, so thanks for that guys.
Gonna be real, I would have loved a season on just Gojo and Geto and would have probably rated that a 9 or 10, but I also can get why people would just want the main story back.
I think its worse than the 1st season, and I loved the more comedic parts of the 1st season, but I will say I love how there is more of a plot this season. But it was just kinda eh, and sure I felt bad for mechamaru and Nobara
...
but I don't think I cared about either of them enough to care about them dying (I don't even think Nobara is dead).
As usual, the show is carried by both the animation and Todo, and I love how they brought back Todo.
If they made a series with both Itadori and Todo it would be a 10.
If Todo dies in the future seasons, I might come back and give every Jujutsu Kaisen season a 1/10 cuz he is just the only character I like or care about tbh.

They took one of the most interesting concepts with some of the most charming and endearing characters, and made one of the shittiest shows I've seen out of it.
Ningen Fushin ain't absolute dogshit, but it's not anywhere near good either. I loved the idea of 4 people betrayed by their previous parties forming up to make a new party, but then after that idea, they just fight a dungeon with slimes, then a dungeon with a sword that turns into a human, then fight a kidnapper who for some reason they all feel bad for when dies.
If this was a traditional "beat the demon king"
...
fantasy anime it would have done so much better.
You have all these characters with distinct personalities and interesting backstories, so why not do something with it?
I expected to go into this and have it be something similar to Frieren, but it's just a slice of life wrapped in a coat of fantasy.

Liked it way more than the original series, saw way more jutsu, sad that there was a bit less actual hand to hand combat, but jutsus were really cool. Every revelation from Itachi's true plan to Obito to the revival of the hokage were just top tier. The fourth ninja war was the best arc I've ever seen, and it was so fun, my favorite scene might have been Kakashi vs Obito. Also love that even though Naruto and the rest have grown so powerful, people like Kakashi can still keep up with his susanoo. This was just so good, and only reason why its
...
a 9 is because its 500 fucking episodes. Although I will say, it did not feel like 500 episodes because I loved every episode.

Odd Taxi is certainly a very original and unique anime, but it's pretty predictable and very slow at some points. The first few episodes are a bit boring and jumps between different characters but when the story starts coming together and combining all these stories, it gets pretty good. I feel like the "mysteries" of Odd Taxi are so very obvious, like how there is a cat in Odakawa's house which I guessed from episode 1. Another thing was how Odakawa was suffering from some sort of mental issue that made him think everyone is an animal, which was also very obvious. The Tapir looking
...
dude was the boss was very obvious. And when they introduced a replacement to one of the idol girls it was very obvious that the replacement girl killed her because she was 4th. None of these twists really made me lose my mind when I saw them because I already knew they were true. That being said, I can't lie and say it wasn't entertaining, as it really was. I do hate how in the end they leave it on a cliffhanger.
