It's me again... I strongly disagree with PP being better than Madoka. Magic > Technology all the time in terms of plausibility. PP was full of that which was not an issue in Madoka.

Do you imply in your Mirai Nikki review that it's a mature show for adults? This is what I got from the "Mirai Nikki proves this in spades." If yes, I am afraid to inform you that it is a completely immature show for teenagers.

You also concider the animation to be perfect when it is far from that too. This is Asread we are talking about XD.

Anyways, I mention a thousand reasons of why the show is flawed beyond salvation in my own review about it. In case you want specifics, read that one.

ah yes, i've even been considering DtB for a while now! school has left me with not much time for anime though, unfortunately, so i'll have to wait for Christmas break to see it, i suppose~ thanks for the recommendations.

As someone who has seen almost every subbed mahou shoujo anime there is, I must inform you that Madoka is not original in the least. It's just the latest hyped series out there. And you liked it as a heavy metal dude because it has combined the cute with the dread. It is the exact same thing Elfen Lied did some years back and it was equally silly back then as it is today.

For more information, please try to watch some episodes of Princess Tutu, Uta Kata or even the original Cutey Honey where you will see how everything Madoka does is nothing but the lastest dark mahou shoujo and nothing else. All its elements were done in the past in other shows and in those shows the writters had dozens of episodes to develop the idea instead of going turbo with the plot and not letting you to experiance the feeling for long.
