Nice rating for "Ao No Exorcist," Emnem.

Cool! Tell what you think of it when you're done watching it.
Madcat_Zam Mar 11, 2011 5:28 PM
Depends on what you're looking for. I'd recommend Kino's Journey (or Kino no Tabi) which is a lot like Mushishi except Kino doesn't really help people with their problems like Ginko does instead she just observes. I also recommend Spice and Wolf but a lot of people I know thought it's sort of boring. Cowboy Bebop is also a must see.

Any specific genre you're looking for?

So I've seen Toradora and 5 centimeters per second.

I like Toradora. I thought the premise is interesting the whole "I like your best friend and you like my best friend, let's help each other out". Plus, the OP and ED songs are catchy.

I actually seen 5CPS a long time ago. I like the movie but it pulled the same montage scene as Brave Story did but I supposed it made sense to do it in this movie since it just shows them drifting apart.

Hmm, well I doubt I'd ever say that because pimping your online stats and such would be catering to your (alter) ego and thus become a sort of a compulsion, quasi-need after a while. On the other hand, I view anime, movies, TV shows, books and *some* video games (e.g. visual novels, story-driven RPGs) as potentially valuable experiences (at least to some degree) and as a way to boost your serotonin and improve your day - again, if moderation is exercised (anything over 2 hours daily or 4-5 on days-off/weekends on "crude" entertainment is too much in my book).

Thanks, I find that flattering. Sorry but I am not really keen on giving out my nationality/location (not exactly sure why I'm not comfortable with that yet, hope you don't take that personally ;) ) but I can say that you'd have a very hard time learning my language (as well as I would the Norwegian).

Still have a way to go with filling out your anime list eh? Nice, I have only started watching two years ago so it wasn't that hard to remember every last one. Maybe you should try browsing through the "Top Anime" section or the recommendations to help you remember, that's what I did.

Yeah I can be pretty meticulous about these things too but I also try to remind myself it's kind of pointless and fleeting in nature; one day this website will go down and I don't want to put in too much effort into profile and list design/info etc.

I am 22 y/o, and English isn't my native language...

Oh...you're not one of those people who update their lists obsessively, are you? {:

It doesn't have to be four, that's just the number I came up with when I tried to think of those episodes that really struck a cord with me and stood out, y'know. Otherwise I like all of them of course.

You should start watching the 2nd season then ;) (of Keion-bu)

I have a few actually:
#1 E06 Those Who Inhale the Dew
#2 E17 Pickers of Empty Cocoons
#3 E13 One-Night Bridge
#4 E03 Tender Horns
(too lazy and tired to explain myself so refer here :p http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mushishi_episodes)
Which are yours?
Madcat_Zam Jan 25, 2011 10:20 AM
Cool, thanks for the suggestions. I'll be sure to check them out whenever I have the time.

Guy.

Nah don't worry. Being human means being able to enjoy sensations ranging from nice to exquisite, comfort is a part of that. As long as you don't resort to overuse of the "physical" to fill the mental/spiritual holes in yourself and in turn miss out on what life really is, wasting it on pathological needs (e.g. overeating, substance abuse, alcoholism etc.)

They should start prescribing K-ON! as an anxiolytic/antidepressant [:
Madcat_Zam Jan 25, 2011 5:26 AM
I personally liked it for being a different from other harems and telling us that "love" doesn't last forever like how other love stories are.

You know, it used to a game with multiple paths in the story. My guess is that they just went "screw it" and went with the worst one where Makoto acts like man-whore. I think they could have adapted other bad paths in the game without making Makoto unlikeable. But that's just my opinion.

So anyways, any anime series or movies you would recommend?
Madcat_Zam Jan 25, 2011 2:22 AM
Ah. So you rated School Days a 9, what did you like about it?
