remember when Shuu-chan was telling Yamada that she only has two options regarding what to do with her feelings towards Mayama? either move on or continue fighting. But then he says he's lying and there's actually a third option, but he tells Yamada there's only two because humans will fight to find the third option themselves.
Hmmmm~ I haven't actually seen Gundam 0083 (Though I plan on watching it eventuallyXD)
Gundam 00 has a very "Gundam Wing" feel~
And a very "real world" feel... as far as I know its the only gundam world placed in AD timeO.o
Its less cheesy than Gundam seed (thank goodness)~ but at times the character development is slow because there's so many characters, There's also alot of political stuff... (usually I don't mind political stuff... but when there 4+ sides on the battle field it can get tedious viewing all the perspectivesXD)
It has some bumps~ but if you can get to the later episodes it improves^.^"... I had trouble getting that far though and probably would have given up myself if I wasn't blogging the eps on another site hahaXD I'm still at a 7 for this series because the beginning skrewed up~ but if it stays at this pace I will bump to an 8.
I just finished reading Kanon. Not bad! Ayu story was definitely pretty decent - I probably would have liked it more if it wasn't compressed in 80 pages.
By the way, check out burndvdburn.blogspot.com for Kanon TV1 vs. TV2 image comparisons. TV1 is just AIRRRRRRRRRRRRR. freakin' pig disgusting
Thanks for commenting again=3
Yeah kare kano did get slow there~ but in comparison to the whole series (including the manga) it wasn't that big of a deal.
HahaXD And I thought about adding Azumanga~ But it doesn't fit my mental genre of slice of lifeXD just "school commedy" (even though I know slice of life is the same thing I seperate themXD)
Probably because there was only 1 guy in the entire series... and well... it was mister pervert senseiXD
btw~ I looked at my Scoring average~ and apparantly I score lower than you:
1.24 points lower than the average scores
Watching Region 1 (US) DVDs in the UK isn't so much an electricity issue as to do with the hardware. You need to buy a multi-region DVD player (perhaps £30-40) and hack it to be region-free, and then (I think) you need a TV which reads the right kind of output. This isn't illegal, but UK DVD distributors would like it to be.
As an impoverished student, I don't actually have a TV (TV License = £135.50), so I'd have to use my laptop's DVD player. I'm unwilling and unable to hack the firmware on my laptop's player, though, because of the risks to my laptop, which is pretty much essential to my course work.
Ironically, US DVDs are often cheaper to import, customs duty included, than buying their UK counterparts. For example (on Amazon), Vol. 1 of Full Metal Panic costs £2.76 + costs on Region 1 import but £19.99 on Region 2 (Europe).
Manga, on the other hand, is relatively cheap, not region-encoded and fairly widely available. Thank goodness for that.
Yeah I when I went to rank all the shows I've seen I was determined to rank shows a bit stricter then most. A 7 is watchable if you like the genre, anything lower than 7 is really questionable unless your really into that type of show. 8's are a step up and either are enjoyable to people who may not like the genre or just do something in the genre exceptionally well.
9's should pretty much be watched by anybody who as an anime interest as they excell in enough ways to really be something special and so far like you said I've only given out two 10's, and those two shows happen to be my favorite two. When I go to order my top 5 or 10 or whatever, I always know that Eva and H&C are #1 and #2, then after that it gets hard to call, but those two are just exceptional in so many ways they stand out.

I just watched the first episodes so I'd know what people are talking about when I hear them mentioned at leastXD
Anime this season I like the most:
Code Geass R2
Special A
Macross Frontier (maybeXD?)

Yeah Hajime is a bit of a long anime~
I'm only watching it chunks~ a few battles here~ a few there~
But its worth it^.^
*Unless you have an evil younger bro who is 10 eps ahead of you and feels the urge to spoil everybattle for me>.<
Well I guesse its not that I hate more anime~
Its just after seeing so much it becomes easier to separate the crap from the masterpiecesXD
