GL anime is often just very "on the surface" ? i dont know how to explain. but i liked Bloom into you and Adachi to Shimamura. its actually been a while since ive watched any yuri, i feel like its hard to find good ones.. but as for manga, i currently really love the boy she was interested in wasnt a boy at all !!!

no way you dont like gabi :X i was a huge gabi defender when the season came up. she's a little girl who was manipulated from birth, she thought what she was doing was right. (id probably go more into detail but its been too long since ive watched aot now wtf my brain doesnt work)
i like to own manga because i love to have my shelf full of it. if only it werent so expensiiivee... im trying to get more into reading books and esp those that a lot of people seem to love, like fourth wing for example. have you read that one?
i love annie and mikasa. truly good written female characters, my heart beats for annie im a huge fan. i was so happy to have her manga. i made so many edits of her back then i cant. they werent even good but i wanted more content LOLL she was my background everywhere and all that..

GOD id have to dig them up and i dont even know where :( i have them remembered in my head but theyre probably piled up somewhere in my moving boxes .. if i ever find it i will def show you. i had drawn them on paper and not digital :/ but id love to see your art if you dont mind !!

participating in painting and quizzes sounds fun. we had something similar the other day - because of the some children safety thing.. its a sad topic honestly, like about child labour and stuff. but we had quizzes about it too and i won against our principal lol

I love Tolkien and it is very important because he created modern fantasy; without Tolkien, something like fantasy anime and HP probably wouldn't exist. Tolkien didn't create elves and dwarfs, but the images we have of them were Tolkien creations. Nice I really muder mysteries and true that kind of stuff.

Sure, why not? I don't read a lot of romance books, but I will check out what you recommend. I do want to read more murder mysteries. I recommend Cormac McCarthy's work; he is an amazing author. I recommend The Road (one of the most depressing things I have ever read) and No Country For Old Men are good places to start; these are easier to read while Blood Meridian is definitely considered the best. Snice you like Sci Fi, All Tomorrow is something to look into. The Qu is honestly one of the most evil villains in fiction. For horror, IT and Pet Sematary are good reads.

I still need to read Harry Potter. I have seen the first three movies so far.  :D

Yeah, Violet Evergarden is amazing and probably will be my favorite anime ever.

I also see that you like books. I'm trying to get into more books. So far, I love the Tolkien and Cormac McCarthy books. My favorite from Tolkien is The Hobbit, and my favorite McCarthy is Blood Meridian. So far, I am currently reading East of Eden. Do you have any other recommendations?
