Hello there. My name is SmashBlack and I like anime, but you probably already know that. I'm also a big fan of video games as well (specifically JRPGs, Nintendo games, and indie games), and my favorite video game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Again, disliking the game is FINE but the way that went around it was just incredibly patronizing, contrarian and unsympathetic.
For the record I have absolutely no problems with someone disliking a game, or even not getting into Celeste, that's perfectly fine and there have been plenty of actually good negative reviews on Backloggd, but it felt like it wasn't really showing disinterest in the game, but trying to deny the feelings of others and completely disregard the game design around it for personally thinking the story wasn't subtle enough. It just came off like he wanted to be inconsiderately hateful for the sake of it.
