Most of the people who liked code geass are stuck on the nostalgia where it was one of their first anime they've seen and is tipical from people who lives in the western hemisphere. Code Geass is overrated in my opinion because it tries hard to be something it cannot be. It tried to be super 4D chess like death note and it was all child play where they are playing at conquering the world on a galactic scale while assisting the same school friends and foe. Also Suzaku is one of the worst anime character i've had the disgust to witness. Dude just can't stop betraying, it's like lil bro is immune to character development and a big contributor why I didn't like the ending of code geass.

The only positive it has are the legendary OST and it also has its good moment like when an annoying female character died, which made me happy. These are reasons why I don't like Code Geass, tho not here to convince you or anything just stating my opinion on it.
