There is really no point in fleshing out a serial killer villain unless it presents a dynamic or a theme in the story such as Makishima vs Kougami in Psychopass, or Batman vs Joker. In these instances then the villain becomes interesting, but in Erased the manga probably had no idea what to do with the character and just shoehorned his character near the end of the story and has no dynamic to the MC, thus shitty villain in the anime and the manga
he's still a shitty villain, that's the manga's fault and it was rushed because it can only have 12 episodes. The directing and presentation is the reason why the show looked good in the first place
Eh, like only half of it when I was way younger. Just some anime i never finished watching through out the years, but i'l leventually re watch and complete them
