I hope you are aware that EL is widely despised by otaku die hards on this site and 4chan's /a/, where it is a pariah and any praise towards it is instantly flamed with napalm. Don't be surprised if that review gets reported and one of the mods deletes that review, then sends you an angry message about how you are trolling.

I do enjoy talking to somebody who likes SAO but dislikes it's flaws. Everyone I know either hates it or loves it. I noticed in my SAO review that most people disliked my review. It's like talking about the big four, no matter what bad thing you say about it somebody will be up your ass on it lol.

To be frank I loved SAO's concept of surviving in a video game world but because of the very quick cut off and cheesy 2nd half of the season it losted much of its glory. Attack on Titan I think has another great idea that I beleave is being brought out very well in the anime. I'm a total fan for Attack on Titan but I think it has a few flaws. I think that all three of the main characters have flaws that make them less appealing. Mikasa is blinded by love, armin is a fruitcake, and Eren doesn't have to much actual skill other than his titan form. So I like SAO's main characters better because I feel they are very well developed. The love is very strong and that's why the SAO couple is one of my favorites.

For SAO I think it's by far from being perfect. It has too many problems with story development that I think killed it. I beleave people are too hiped on the first half of the anime to admit that it kinda sucks. I still think it's average at best.

Attack of Titan I think desurves some glory for being so bold with killing characters off. I pissed myself when I though eren got nommed XD. So I don't think people are getting too carried away with it , but in my eyes its pretty good.

I am newer than you so its not really my place to tell you, but welcome to MAL forums! >.< You gave a great description in your about section! You've watched both SAO and attack on titan! Do you think either of them deserve their overrated titles? I personally enjoyed them both :) there were some parts of the story and the character development in both that did disappoint me a little though Dx

Well, Hiiro no Kakera has some good points, but also quite a few of bad points.
Good:
great animation
interesting plot
usually likable characters
Bad:
Main female heroine doesn't do much for a lot of first season
Since it appeals to girls, the main guy characters at the end will say little things that might make a straight male uncomfortable. XD
