Haha yeah. I try and keep up on messaging people on here, but it does not always work out that way.
I see. That's fine. Unfortunately I'm not big on things like that, sorry ^^
Oh, nice! Best of luck with that! Not too bad. Work has been a bit of a struggle since it's not in my area of knowledge, but getting there. Well it's an apprenticeship so it's slightly different I suppose, which is odd that I got accepted since I'm a bit "too old" for it, but oh well. It's a job at the end of the day, but will have to see what they say at the end of the 4 month probation period.
It's totally Ok. I know that many people are travelling on holidays. This time I made an exception for myself and decided to stay in my hometown.
Ah I understand XD In my case, moe girls is my least favourite archetype and I may not watch anime if moe is a main character. Madoka and few other anime do have intriguing stories which compensate for it, but usually it feels meh. Some of my MAL male friends love these girls though :)
Oh LOGH is one those anime that I know are good, but cannot make myself watch them.
Yes, Momoko, Happy birthday and also Gotou ni naritai are all on the same topic and are very dramatic. The last title is the least tragic and a bit outdated, but I can recommend all three. I see this J- drama is also about diseased guy. They also have 1 litre of tears drama which is always on the top lists. I still haven't seen it as well. These movies can be sad and inspirational at the same time.
Drama CDs are not direct continuation, but great addition to the stories. Vision of Escaflowne's drama CD is the best from what I've listened to. It made me feel better.
That's okay! I take ages to reply sometimes haha Oooh I love Bath! It's so peaceful there!
I don't know what it is about crappy anime but I just love it haha Same with Manga tbh... there are some manga I've read that I know for a fact are shit but I love them haha
I've been good! I got a new job so I'm excited to start that wooo! Tbh I hate summer so it can't end quick enough imo 😂
That's fine - crappy anime is actually a guilty pleasure of mine haha
Yeah tbh horror anime is usually more creepy or unnerving rather than truly scary. There are not really any movies or TV shows that have scared me in a long time though so it's not just anime.
Ooo nice! I love strawberry and lime kopparberg cause it's soooo refreshing. I also fee like hot days mean you just have to drink a shandy too haha
Oh I thought it's watchable for men, because it opens up many psychological problems which guys often have. The way they overcome their mental difficulties can be helpful in real life. Not everybody confronts their bad feelings and people more often tend to hide them.
OMG, it's already 3, but I think it will change with time. I'm sad that HxH is on the 7th place. It used to be 3rd T_T.
Anime movies, yes. I didn't find much of good Japanese live action series. I'm more lucky when I randomly watch them. If I pick something from top lists I usually don't like it, but that's only with dramas. With anime it's easier to find good stuff.
No, the first Momoko title is probably stupid Ecchi or hentai. You should check the 2nd Momoko which is a long title. Ah, I tried Akachan once, but the baby's crying sounded too unrealistic. I may need to check English dubs or something else. In some Japanese anime I'm moved by crying scenes, but some of them feel fake to me for some reason.
Yes, but some of them can be like continuation of the story. Sometimes interviews with the cast are included which is also nice. They can explain some things about their characters.
Oooh, I haven't heard of that one... might have to add that to my watch list!
Yeah they're great episodes because they have to have maximum creepiness in a short space of time. I'm an idiot and decided to watch a bunch before bed and freaked myself out haha
Omg ur so lucky! Wish I had a supermarket that close then I could stock up on some cider which is an absolute must-have in this weather haha
Congratulations on graduating from University! I hope you have a good job lined up already.
My Chinese and Japanese (rudimentary) are better than my Korean (non-existent) so I don't think it affects me. But for sure there's plenty of J-dramas to watch. I had a lot of fun cooking dishes after watching Midnight Diner on Netflix, let's just say I thought the goal of every episode was to make me cry, and episodes are short, same length as anime (20-24 minutes). It's really great to watch but might make you hungry and might also make you cry. The feels ...
I have some plushies in my room, lots in the kid's room. Many Pokemon and other plushies. The Dango I was trying to buy was like 14 inches? That seemed to be the size of the one in Clannad. So quite big but they wanted $400 for it and even at that price it was sold out ... holy cow. I wish I had sewing skills.
From last season I loved how Fruits basket ended and I'm glad that many people agree with that. I see that it's ranked 4 by the rating. From not airing anime, I found several old movies about kids with health problems which have strong personality and overcome social difficulties. Momoko, Kaeru no Uta ga Kikoeru yo was on my PTW list and I downloaded it. This topic got me hooked and I found some other movies from 90's like that.
Have you tried listening to Japanese audiobooks or drama CD based on anime? I found some drama CD which made good addition to the franchises like Slayers, Escaflowne. Some drama CDs are like fanservice OVAs with perverted jokes.
I love twisted anime/ manga (I know, I'm weird haha). I'd recommend Yami Shibai - the episodes are really short (like 5 mins) but they are so freakin' creepy! Plus there are A LOT of seasons for it. A new one came out this season too.
It's absolutely boiling in London too. I've managed to avoid going outside all day cause I just can't deal with the heat haha
Hi! Sorry for the late reply! In last years I can be active on MAL mostly during holidays. I hope I will visit it more this year, because this season of anime is good with plenty of watchable series. I hope it remains the same and will keep me there for longer.
Well, yes, our country is so big that it is cheaper to travel to Europe than to some parts of Russia.
Air is slow paced and that's the problem. I listened to Air audiobook once and it felt better to listen.
Yeah, cool! That requires daily practice in order not to forget kanji. I understood it when I tried it. It's interesting and useful for brains
Been pretty good. I've been binging a lot of anime in the last 2 weeks so my C-drama / K-drama watching has really fallen to zero. I looked for years to buy a Dango plushie, the only one I found was off Pinterest and too expensive :( If not for that I would have definitely purchased one. You don't want to know how many Plushie Pokemon are living in our house.
Oh nice congrats! Must feel nice to be finally done. I know how I was when I finally finished and got my diploma.
You could say so, even though for now it's just product pages...it's quite long because there is a lot to it, even though I am initially focusing on the pros and cons, and this frequently asked questions section. Well for now at least.
Oh cool. Video personally or well anything to do with it was never really my thing but it sounds good!
Uff wish I can say that. I have so much I want to get to, but it's been quite slow for me at the moment, even though I've been trying to get a series out of the day, well ones with single seasons done in a day or two.
That is true, but to be fair I'm not too fussed about it. For me it's more like if I don't contact people no one else will bothered to do the vice versa. So not really. Well the only plan is to meet up with two of my friends from uni, because they are coming down to UK from their home countries I think next month, so hopefully the plan will go forward and we can meet up to catch up.
Don't worry neither do I. Just last week I found out how many stats there are on running shoes...pronation, sole thickness...I mean I never even think about that. The only thing I get concerned over is the size, colour and whenever they will be comfortable for walking. Oh cool cool.
No not so much a runner, I use a corsstrainer at home but that is about it. I do hiking and diving but certainly running is not my thing.
Ah wish I could understand that much. I've been at it for over a year now, but still have a long way to go.
Think I heard of that before.
That is true. If only it was not so expensive...For a matter of fact I know I would be forced to use Spanish for example in Barcelona, because almost no one understand English there.
That is true. Ehh don't even get me thinking about my loan haha! It's so bad. Doubt that I will ever pay it back, unless they change things and actually make you pay it all back.
Well let's hope so, because people have certainly lost their minds a long time ago...
Heyy, thx for FR <3 I see we have a bit different opinion on some anime (your rating Frutis hurt me very Basket) but I understand that people have different tastes and it's fun to have different friends on this site! (ノ_;)ヾ(´ ∀ ` )
