Ah, yes, I've read ch 66 and holy crap, the wall in his bedroom was suspicious! I am actually shocked at how well kept the body is. This ending may be a little too good to be true, as it is quite an optimistic ending to the viewer (the sangwoo x prison and yoonbum x therapy meme ship).
It sucks that our prediction about no sexual abuse occurring by the mom to sangwoo was wrong, but hey, I can live with that.
I was right about this though as I predicted earlier on:
I can't see Bum ever liking Sangwoo, but rather the idea of Sangwoo in his mind, in which Bum is fully aware of that not translating to real life. However, Bum has lusted after that image in his mind, and wanted to believe it himself despite all of his shortcomings with Sangwoo
when he saw the burned defeated face of sangwoo and didn't believe it was him.
you totally called it in regards to the standoff between the cop and sangwoo, especially the whole "sangwoo needs to be in court becuase he killed a cop" so we're both correct.
I wonder if the whole suicide pact may be an option, though it seems unlikely as of now...
I agree about the Dororo being a bit inferior to his other works; I prefer his newer mangas a lot more. But yeah, he got his own mishaps, particularly with the women being nothing more than walking cliches a lot of the time. I haven't watched Dororo anime yet, but I plan to once I have enough time and eps to binge-watch, so I have no clue what the anime has to offer.
I just caught up with Witch Creek Road. I am a little confused about what the "curves" and "angles" mean, but I suppose they'll explain it later. At first, I thought it was a cheesy teen horror story, but now that most teens are...less human(?), it definitely piqued my interests. Though the only complaint is the large cast, so it made say "who?" when they mentioned some of the teenagers by. Regardless, I like it so far.
I finished Bastard a while back, but I have taken a hiatus from reading Home Sweet Home since ch 42/43. I might get back to it sometime. Though I don't care for spoilers if you want to spill something regarding the story. :)
The only significant thing I've read was Himizu, which had a nice buildup...but, the ending was way too abrupt. Not to mention, the actions leading to that ending was pretty stupid. Though I thought in terms of visuals and psychological story was like the anime Ping Pong, which is pretty cool.
Maybe it's just me, but it's getting difficult to find a good psychological/horror manga that's good all the way through...
Yeah, finished exams and passed with good marks, though this semester I have really hard profs, so I have no clue what my future entails. I started the semester also last week. I will probably start to get busy next week because of it though. So, limited time to read much manga unfortunately.
