Sorry if it takes a while to respond, I'm really only hopping on MAL to update my list/post thoughts on shows real quick.
Personally I prefer the original FMA to Brotherhood. Although Brotherhood excels in its action and fleshing out supporting characters, I feel that the original FMA had more profound themes and stayed more in line with the main concept of equivalent exchange. I still think both are masterpieces through and through, would recommend both.
Well you're in luck since there's sequels to Mushishi. I'm putting off watching the final movie since after that I have nothing left. As for the live action, I'm not too fond LA based on anime in general so I tend to avoid it.
I was trying to hold back on DanMachi comments until you saw episode 8. That is easily my favorite anime fight from this year so far. The world building really is interesting and I like how it takes its own spin on the RPG/fantasy elements. I don't see it on your list but have you seen SAO or Log Horizon?
Yeah I could go on and on about FMA (or most of my favorites to be honest). How are you taking to it now that you're further? I'm also interested in your thoughts once you finish it.
Nice to meet you by the way. I noticed you're watching Mushishi, which is another series I really love. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking and the world it has to offer just left me speechless.
Also I see you're watching DanMachi. What do you think of it so far?
I didn't even know Colorado had a comic con. Something new to look forward to, I guess.
Yeah I might go to the one in September. I need to experience the anime scene more. Don't think I'll cosplay though, I'll probably put on a weeb shirt or some shit and call it a day haha.
I live in Denver, don't really get to experience the mountain lifestyle. Comic con? isn't that in California?. I've heard of NDK the anime convention in Denver.
Initial D is great, man. Good taste you got there.
