Greetings Shinjini, I recently gave you an invite to a seasonal club called the Anime Guild.
But I do also like to interact with the people I'm looking to bring into the club.
The club consists of a lot of different seasonal activities from Power Rankings to OP/ED Comps to Seasonal Cards.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
How popular is anime in India? I really don't tend to see many members on MAL from India.
Wew.
This looks seriously good on your list. MnY's cinematography is breathtaking honestly. Complements the fantasy aura so resonantly. Like you would go 'woah' with certain scenes.
Note: MnY had REALLY tough competition in it's department this season with GLT and KnT, cause both of these bank on cinematography as well; even though of different natures. GLT is more post-apocalyptic, while KnT is natural. But still on overall impact, MnY edges out by a mile. I'm really excited to see how they manage the second cour.
Also, plan to watch anything the next season? I have decided on 3. like- Hakumei to Mikochi (for the visuals again), Takagi-san (this was OBVIOUS), and lastly Koi wa Ameagiri no You ni(this is quite a controversial topic and I'd like to see how they implement it in an anime.)
Inuyashiki is cheap entertainment. Critically good? Has any deep implications? Nope.
It can even be a bit edgy around the starting episodes.
But you get to see an old humble man kicking ass and a sociopath not even interested to consider anyone's POV other than his own.
It is brutal and doesn't pull back any punches in brutality. It tries to feel a lot adult, but ultimately is more of a child's fantasy of what adult is supposed to be like- throw in a lot of blood, gangsters, drugs, sex. But note- these are just minor themes explored. Like say, a popcorn movie you're gonna watch cause you need to pass the time. It is entertaining in that sort of way.
The Tsukihime anime is so bad that the joke goes that it doesn't exist. Read the routes of the VN or the manga if possible or you won't get half the jokes in the show

Another illustrative art. But I can't give you the best of them unless you finished the series
How is Berserk?
