My obsession with horror is what got me into anime in the first place. Been a fan since a little child. My father would show them to me and my mom would be like NOOOOOOOO :) XD I prefer old horror movies though like the Lost Boys, fright night, a lot of stephen king movies and stuff. From the ones you've mentioned I've watched conjuring and I think one paranormal activity movie?? I don't like how they capture the whole thing with the camera, like in REC. I've mentioned already that I love slasher movies though, and they are probably my favorite kind of horror movies. Like Friday 13th, Halloween and such.
Killers are fascinating indeed! I mostly like learning about their motives, their method of killing and their way of thinking all together. I'd say overall, I am interesting in criminology. Gonna study english literacy, linguistics or whatever though. At least that what I am planning on studying lol. Maybe you like serial killers because you are hiding one in you :3 JK JK XD
TWD is famous indeed and although I wouldn't say it's my favorite, it's pretty much exciting and a good topic of conversation with other fans, since there are many of them :P Aaah, you are living in America too, I am so jealous T^T That's where I wanna live too. There aren't many opportunities to succeed in my country... That's why I've invested time in becoming good at english so I can speak it fluently and finally get to leave.
Putting all of these aside, as far as the yandere video is concerned, I listened to both of the stories and I've gotta say... REN'S VOICE SUCKS XDDD Too deep for me. Need a voice like Yuno's from Mirai Nikki. I didn't get scared as expected, but yandere stories are always interesting. The creepy background music though is doing a good job at keeping you on edge and it really fits the pace! Yanderes are pretty much an everyday thing for me now, as I am writing a story about one myself. And remember... The best things happen... In the dark! :D
Akira was so-so. It was a bit perplexing so I didn't get to enjoy it that much. It's a classic though so I definitely had to watch it. It's great how you can appreciate old anime classics, and it's interesting to see how the anime industry has evolved to umm this... Moe and shit, ya know :V
Oh then watch it and tell me what you think. Its about love between siblings so it makes me feel awkward around my brother tho lolol. He is your age btw. Kuzu no honkai, ofc. Reading the manga too. I love it but im tired of seeing kiss scenes hehehe. Its completely my type, but that gets me. Its all Wonderful at first but gets boring. Saliva everywhere XD The rest and the story though are great. Im a sucker for anime like that. Josei is my favorite before shoujo tbh. Nana is the finest example. And depressing indeed, one sided love is the worst :DDDD Welp I read the soundtrack is pregnant.. LOL Sayuri is great :") whoever is singing the opening as well.
Yeah shoujo tends to be slow btw. But this one aghhh. The total opposite of kuzu no honkai. Kiss server not found XD I have two turtles btw :3
Hey hey Im straight X"D Hmm caring types are my type only when they do caring things in secret ya know. Its extremely cute imo.
For FSN I watched anime first, but it was DEEN (not so good) version. I still like it though.
As for Zero, I read the novel first. When the anime got announced, I decided to read the novel so I would not miss anything. You know, how adaptations cannot put everything on screen, so they would inevitably skip some stuff. I wanted to avoid that, so I read novel first.
My fav scenes:
HF- Probably when Rin faces Sakura, and the final battle against Saber.
F/Z-The battle against Caster, but also the final battle of Gil vs Iskandar was pretty awesome. But, there are many other memorable scenes. It is very difficult to choose.
I would definitely think the Novel is worth it even after watching the anime.
The novel has much more insight than the anime (which is awesome). But, from my point of view, the anime is still no replacement for the novel at all.
So, I would still recommend it if you want a really good read.
As for Fate/Zero novel, it is darker than FSN but it is an amazing read. It gives a different vibe, I definitely recommend it if you have not read it.
They scared you to death?? Woah, that seems too much ya know XD I love being scared, so I will definitely accept this umm "challenge" xd
Anything interesting, mmm nothing comes to mind right now. Oh, if this counts, I like watching top 10 videos about creepy things usually and anything that appears to be interesting and I particularly like the ones about like haunted houses and serial killers XD I love reading about them too, and watching documentaries. Let's see... A good top 10 video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95Ogny2K878 There are many in the recommended list so, there are many interesting things to check out :D Or, you may happen to already like watching top 10s like this
Ohh, I used to watch deadly women btw, do you know it? :P Serial killers are not exactly about horror, but pretty much interesting. What do you think?
Btw, I'll be watching the walking dead right now, and then I will pick up Akira right after. Do you watch twd?
Yeah, definitely lucky qwq if you exclude the exams that are coming up lol. School is going alright, the exams are in like 1 and a half+ months so I am not really worried about that right now. Happy stuff in between? I get you lol Like, I like the anime that have some funny moments in between. But, not gonna lie, I like the ones that keep you at the edge of your seat more :V I am gonna watch Akira tonight btw (another every Saturday thing XD). Have you watched it? I wonder if the horror in it is any good.
Oh, you've watched lovely complex. When you start watching kaichou wa maid sama then, you'll also have to remind me of what happens in the anime because I've totally forgotten :P Maids are.... SO WHAT ARE THEY? XD
Right, I remembered that! The bathroom scene, yes that rings a bell. Sometimes I wish that I can just delete all the horror and shoujo anime I've watched from my memory so I can watch them all over again. But, there are some that I watched a long time ago, so I may as well rewatch some of them this summer.
What I liked about the show is... I don't remember XD What I hated? That's something I do remember! NO KISS SCENES WHATSOEVER. NOT EVEN ONE. THERE WERE ABOUT TO KISS FOR REAL ONCE, AND A STUPID GUY RUINED IT FOR THEM. So.. yeah. About shoujo in general... Well, I am a girl. I've always been a bit tomboylish, but I could never resist shoujo anime and how they make you feel. Doki doki you know? lolol It's funny especially when some stories can relate to your love life or some shit. And the ones that show bullied girls getting saved by a guy, I love them the most :V Although I am undermining the girl's will power by being into that??? I don't know lol
Good to see another fellow fan.
Btw, really like your favs, you have many awesome series up there.
I've watched many shoujo anime out there, but there are still some more I haven't checked out.
Haha that's just a misconception, anyone can like shoujo XD Truth be told, I don't know any guys who like shoujo (shhh). I watched kimi ni todoke 3 years ago, so I have no memory of what occured in the first 6 episodes whatsoever XD What was the rumor about?? Something about Sadako (oops Sawako) I guess. Hmm anime like kimi ni todoke... Well, probably bokura ga ita, peach girl, lovely complex, itazura na kiss, ao haru ride, say i love you, kaichu wa maid sama, tonari no kaibutsu kun.. Oh I've mentioned so many already lololol They are all good, I am not so sure which one I liked the most XD Say i love you is the one most similar to kimi ni todoke in terms of plot as the main girl is also a girl no one ever tried to get close to until this certain popular guy comes up to her blah blah. But lovely complex and itazura na kiss are will an unrequited love somehow, and I think this kind of shows are best. Lovely complex also handles comedy quite well, so you must watch it! It's fun with a weird relationship between the leads.
So, I'm glad you got interested! :D Well, you can try out the first season of Jigoku Shoujo and decide for yourself whether it's worth your time. But from what I know about your interests, I think you are going to like it.
I love, absolutely LOVE survival when it's included with horror, as well as blood, so Gantz was great for me. Like Mirai Nikki or the manga Battle Royale. Different kind of series/mangas but they are similar in that respect. Any anime with survival included can become my favorite in an instant XD I think Btoom is similar to that, but I haven't watched it yet.
I have not watched that. Is it any good? What is it about anyway? Just checked out the tags. I am not a big fan of sci-fi, so you have to give me a good reason to watch it :P I love unique art styles! And don't mind any kind of art, like I mentioned before (I think?xd) Well I don't mind any kind of art, but that doesn't mean that I can't be captivated by something that looks good. I also love aesthetic things qwq I just don't like being judgemental when it comes to anime, or people for that matter lol, so I like giving everything time, even those anime that don't capture my eye immediately. Drama, huh? I like anime that make me sob like a baby to be honest qwq CLIFFHANGERS? Okay, I am in XD School ends for me in a couple of weeks, so I will watch it then. (I think its 3 weeks. Then easter break, exams, and finally summer yay lol)
Code Geass... It was always on my mind as it's everywhere on social media and with pretty good ratings, so I will watch this one soon too anyway
