I kinda like the Kaguya's op since its so catchy, lol I dunno why but probably thats just me. That said, I like Kaguya-sama's ed though, Halca's Sentimental Crisis was really good and it had a great impact on the fireworks episode.
Thats really good song choices! I haven't listen to Melt unfortunately.
Regarding Higurashi no Naku koro ni, I think most horror anime's theme songs are underappreciated. Take a listen to Elfen Lied op, its creepy yet great too. I like Another op too, the lyrics are gore af.
I have of a lot of favorite anime songs. My playlist is full of it actually. lol
- To start off, my favorite op of all time which is Your Lie in April's Hikaru Nara by Goose House. I think I fell in love with the song when I first listened to it.
- My favorite ed is probably Bakemonatari's Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari by supercell, it is just so good!
- I like Houseki no Kuni op which was sung by YURiKA, I like it when its live too, specifically at Anisama 2018
- I also like ClariS songs but my favorite is Connect from Madoka
- secret base from AnoHana is also really good, its just so emotional.
- Again from FMAB It just sound so cool
- Tenshi ni fureta yo from K-on!! is just so memorable, it reminds me of that scene if you know what I mean.
There are just a lot to name actually. lol but those are my favorite ones
In relation to KanaHana, she is in a famous meme which is of course Renai Circulation from the op of Bakemonogatari. Most non-avid anime and seiyuu fans usually don't know where the song come from and who she is.
I totally agree! Rieri is a great personality and she is proving her potential every role she's in. She is a seiyuu unit Earphones too and her cover ed songs on both the two seasons of Takagi-san, I recently like her Kiseki and Kanade covers in s2.
To put it briefly, awards aren't to be taken as measurement to tell how great the seiyuu is but an achievement for a specific performance. I can't argue with that then. There's no denying that Kamishiraishi Mone did an excellent job but I think that the annual seiyuu award is prone to misunderstanding. The best seiyuu award just means the best performance, I'm not hating though, I just want clarity on the context. It might be confusing. Famous movies gives roles to actors than experienced seiyuus nowadays. Mone is an actress and I don't think she will be voicing a character in a tv show soon. She sang a theme song though.
Yep, I really like MYTH&ROID, shadowgraph is indeed great, also, ReZero's Paradisus Paradoxum & STYX HELIX, and Youjo Senki's Jingo Jungle are well done. The plot was fine for me but how the structure of the story is built up is really complicated. You need to finish the show to understand the previous episodes and the plot ofc. Some episodes were really unexplained but the following scenarios for the next episodes makes sense for the story for you. It is really a matter of taste but that show is average for me so can't blame you.
Yeah Yuuki Aoi's Boogiepop is the best performance I've ever heard for a seiyuu personally.
lol Its true that I decide what shows to watch based on the cast of seiyuus but for the most part I pretty much watch anything, mostly seasonals but I sometimes binge-watch. I watch shows that update every week since I like to look for gems but the main reason I watch seasonals only for a long period of time is because I go to school and I only binge when its break time.
But to answer your question, yeah plot is really important when watching an anime. I think I decide to drop things half-way if its really painful to watch a show but I still watch mediocre tier shows and finish it. Watching seasonals have its up and downs. Anyways, I think plot is the biggest factor in watching anime , next is character then production and then enjoyment. The plot really drives the anime to be good or bad. I think it is where the other factors come too on how hey influence the plot as a whole. For example, a character can suddenly ruin the progression of the plot sometimes and production can lessen the quality of the show which also lessen the value of the plot.
Off topic: What are your favorite anime song, it can be anything like op, ed, insert songs, character songs or etc.
Its safe to say that KanaHana is the most famous seiyuu both in Japan and in the west. Oh thats a really great question! Wow, its really hard to precisely see anyone like KanaHana. If the current seiyuu generation gets a lot of exposure I think there are great options. Lets start with skill, I think Takahashi Rie is a good candidate since she is really skillful, I mean she voiced Emilia, Megumin and Takagi. Kana Ichinose is really underrated and she is really good skill-wise with voicing a lot of main role characters despite starting her voice acting career not that long ago. Popularity wise I think Inori Minase and Ayane Sakura are close to her and have the potential to reach the level of KanaHana's popularity. Ayaneru is proving it but I think I see Inorin more of a Nana Mizuki type than KanaHana type, just from her singing career she is really similar to Nana-sama.
What do you think? I'm interested in hearing your view on it. Its really hard when you think about it but I hope there would be more like KanaHana.
I think I watched Youjo Senki just because I heard Aoi Yuuki is voicing a loli Hitler. lol Not even kidding. Koe no Katachi had a great cast actually for a movie. Also, she is a literal legal loli so the loli thing is perfect for her. I have one role I don't like her voicing which is Yoshiko from Aho Girl, it just feels so weird and does not suit her at all. The most recent character I've heard her voice was Tamaki from Fire Force. Now, she is voicing Diane from the s3 of Nanatsu no Tazai and soon, Tsuyu in BNHA s4. This girl started as a child actress so she is a veteran at anything media.
I think I like Hayamin's voice a lot, she is really talented at both being a seiyuu and singer. IMO, she is a powerhouse veteran in the industry which gets a lot of roles every season. Whenever I first time hear a character she voiced in a show, I instantly recognize her. The first time I've heard and recognize her was I think Tsurumi from AnoHana, same as her fellow veteran Kayano Ai. She also did well on voicing a character which does not speak. lol

Here, I give the reasons...
(1) The three routes (Fate, Unlimited Blade Works UBW and Heaven's Feel HF) all diverged from each other only from the first day and before that the story doesn't have alternate versions. So, those events that happened before the First day are facts and constants. Some examples are -
* That Matou Sakura is actually the sister of Tohsaka Rin who was sent away to the Matou family by the Rin and Sakura's father. There, in the Matou Household, Sakura was trained as a Magi. Only the HF route gives explanation to this part of the story and the other 2 routes have nothing to say, making them incomplete and somewhat inconsistent.
