As you can see I'm pretty new in the "anime-scene", having seen mostly mainstream shows.. well.. That's what I think they are. Though having wasted a considerable time of my humble but precious life watching it, I'm no overly attached anime fan.. so no flasy profile layouts for you (not that I'm capable of making one anyway).
Uh, apart from anime.. I like music, ofc.. (prog metal, metalcore, post-rock, actually pretty much anything that doesn't involve overrated teen idols.), sports (football. the version in which you aren't allowed to use your hands. no, I refuse to call it soccer you damn americans.), tv shows (game of thrones, the walking dead, all that mainstream shizzle people watch these days.), games (to a lesser degree.. at least, that is what I keep telling myself o.o), student life (mostly the being lazy 24/7 part, I'm not attracted to the role playing game involving suits, faked formality and litres of beer, though I like my alc at times. The best part might be deciding what to cook. Yum, meat.)
Oh. I could mention I'm majoring in neurosciences and living in a country where we ride bicycles all day wearing clogs.
I should also note that I'm not open for conversation with self proclaimed pretentious geniuses, which seem to be lurking around on MAL a lot ;)

And how I envy you, you have 'free subjects'... We use schedules, and it sucks >.<
Oh, and yes, I think it's called thesis. At least that's what our professor called it xD
Oh, and I wouldn't mind learning Danish, anything but German... I think that language is too complicated for my simpleton mind >.>
Also, I think you just became one of my favourite people: not only are you my 'nii-san', you also know French xD God, I love French (even though I can't speak it... for now x3 ). You're so great! xDDD
Oh, and in my studies I basically translate from my native language to English and vice versa. In the second year of studies we will learn German, and in the third - French (which is great, I love French xD ) I also know little bit Russian and Italian (I'm all over the map xD ). Oh, and a bit Japanese (as much as animes can teach you).
And how many languages do you know? Also, tell me more about your studies (you got me interested in them xD )
For the record, I'm sort of an evil person, therefore feeling guilty is not for me x3
