My ratings are based on enjoyment of that particular anime at the time of completion. I try to avoid changing ratings at later times so that other factors that may alter my opinion of that show don't affect the original rating (after rewatches being the exclusion to this rule).

Generally, most will be scored at around 7 due to two main reasons:

1. I only watch shows that are fairly highly regarded and that I expect I will enjoy, which is the case more often than not.
2. If the show was poor enough to warrant anything less than 5 I probably would have dropped it before finishing.

My scoring is a little skewed towards the upper half of the scale. Rough score guideline would be:

10 - God tier - Near perfection
9 - Exceptional
8 - Really Good
7 - Good
6 - Just Okay
5 - Not Very Good

Anything below 5 is just a varying degree of bad.
