I see..well if you compare it to others ecchi anime you will see that it's not among the 'dumb' one as you're saying and please put in your mind that ecchi anime have fans so don't make useless critics if you don't like them. This is what we call fan service here!! lol
Really? How come? Did you think Lelouch was a bad guy in the beginning? xD Actually, I sort of thought he was in season 2 when he became the Emperor. But I guess that was all part of his plan when he told Suzaku to kill him in the end.
I see :) Glad you're liking the website. I see from your favorites list that you like Code Geass and Clannad. Same here~ I'm a big fan of Lelouch <3 xD
It's always better that way, but in this case it was too obvious. Yeah, once thing I liked was that no matter how flawed the anime was, It made me a better person in one way or another, it changed my perspective of life at least a little bit.
About the ending, I find it to be pretty straight-forward with a pretty straight-forward message: No matter what happens don't regret what you do.
The other world could have had meaning, but it doesn't. I thought what they said in the other world was related to their 'real world' but it wasn't. Nothing the girl and robot said had any meaning at the end, for some reason. But they made all that because they needed to introduce those characters. Without them there is happy ending.
You liked the deus ex machina ending? The characters certainly were showed in a way most other animes don't dare do, but they were pretty predictable, overdramatic and unnatural.
The anime was indeed pretty sad; I can understand you liked how emotional it was, I did too. But, what intellectual stimulation? Everything is too predictable to even bother thinking about it, IMO.
