WTF!? Moments:
KissXSis (T.V) is ranked #1482 on myanimelist.net!? AND THE O.V.A IS AT #911!? WTF IS WRONG WITH EVERYBODY!? WHY ISN'T IT RANKED LOWER!? - 02/15/12
Random Notes:
Does anyone even look on my profile "about me" section?
LOL! Of those 5 anime, 4 are horrible and 1 is good (if you are talking about the OVA, because the TV version sucks.)
Ben-to: Whether you consider the theme of the anime stupid or not, it could've worked. Too bad the show wasn't a comedy nor an action anime. It failed in both regards.
Imouto: Looks bad. Haven't seen it.
Deadman Wonderland: Modern Elfen Lied, but worse. Gore for the sake of gore. Force story. Basically, a soap-opera with gore.
Guilty Crown: I hate you just for making me discuss this crap. No words can describe how bad this anime is, from a technical standpoint. Bad insert songs? Check. Cliched and predictable story? Check. Cliched and predictable characters? Check. Bottom line: Generic anime that aims to attract anime watchers that don't know best. Could be compared to a romantic comedy movie.
KissxSis: Nothing happens. Too light. The OVAs are ecchi at best, but they are good ecchi.
No offense, but Canadian English sucks. It's a mix of American and British so it will look wrong no matter what. Still, that wasn't the only problem: There was an excessive amount of punctuation mistakes, some grammatical ones, and few minor things.
I advice you to first learn how to punctuate properly and then focus on writing. I'm not saying you shouldn't write or anything, just that you will save a lot of time and feel a lot better once you get that problem solved.
Keep in mind, too, that even the best of writers have problems with punctuation.
Also, I tend to read every thing that is posted here: http://www.dailywritingtips.com/ and use the Chicago Manual of Style whenever I have any doubts. I should point out that those two things I use as reference only apply to American English.
I read the Slayers review a while ago and I liked it, even though I don't agree with the content itself.
As to your 1st chapter. . . well. . . it needs fixing. The story is pretty good (I have yet to finish it), but there are just too many punctuation and grammar mistakes. You also seem to be using both American and British English.
I watched some of those videos. Some epic playing right there. Though it still kinda doesn't help me with it, since I'm not a very observant person anyways. Practice, practice, practice, I guess. :P
Yeah, I figured that. I haven't really delved into Touhou much......... YET. My life is really busy right now, since it's the end of the year and all. THE EXAMS, MAN, THE EXAMS!
Nah, I'm good. I think i want to surprise myself with the story and characters, rather than have someone tell me who the best developed character was. Thanks for asking, though.
Alright, thanks!
Sorry for the sudden question, but I'm curious: Is Bad Apple from Touhou or Vocaloid? Because I hear the Touhou music in the background, but the version I heard it had Miku singing in it, so..... Is it a combo of both? Or what?
Oh, and what is Bad Apple a remix of?
I tried to beat Touhou 6. I got so close to beating it, but then the Stage 5 boss trolled me. SHE SURVIVED MY LAST BOMB! D:
And that was with lives and bombs maxed. On Normal. And with Marisa. -_-;
Oh, gosh, I shall not be looking forward to it, then. D:
On the record, I've only played Touhou 6 and 7. Still need to get thru the others. Sorry for my complete noob status. I'm still going thru the games right now, after getting my ass handed to me multiple times. ^_^;
But I do know Cirno, Marisa, and Reimu. But just BARELY.
I just wanted to listen to the soundtrack because it was epic. :D
Just read your blog. Thanks for the Touhou tunes!
I cannot say that I am good at Touhou (I have yet to beat a single game), but I love the soundtrack. I especially love #3 on the list. So epic.
Everything makes sense. Also, regarding the writer's block you may have, the way I deal with that is by reading. Try reading at least 30 minutes on the day you plan to write. Read worth reading, too. I'm reading Edgar Allan Poe, for example.

The art was good, I'll give you that. Even if the characters are ''so bad that it's funny'' that doesn't count as a good thing.
Yes, I understand. They are good picks, too. Good work.

The 1.2 GB is worth it. :P

I have Touhou 1-12.3 for some reason. I need to download 12.8 and 13 soon.
Oh, I actually have Touhou #1-5. Have you played them?

Of course it's not Fairy Wars! It's Touhou! Anyone who has played Touhou (And failed at it many times like me) would know that! :P
